Basically, you either pay $70 or more for fixing your computer that was attacked or pay the $180 for the annual Geek Squad coverage subscription. For that reason, it was worth getting and they did clean up the issue, plus backed up the computers data at no extra charge.

The new membership is a very good value, which saves money but not having to purchase a new pc and I can also bring in my other computers if they need service. Plus, you can trust the Best Buy technicians they have a lot of knowledge. They always welcoming to their customers and service their customers with expertise. What a great plan for a whole year. Hopefully, they lower the price.

This protection is great. I have used it a few times. I keep renewing every year. Geek Squard is really helpful and the job done. I love it.

Some violet thunder storms have plagued our area, In the spring I lost a cable modem to a lightning strike . In late June we lost a second cable mode, a router and Ethernet connected TV. MY home insurance deductible is now $6k and has no protection for items below this threshold. I bought the Best Buy Protection plan on a whim as i had bought a laptop for my rambunctious grandson, Laptop is okay most everything else now replaced as above due to lightning. This plan has been very good for me.

This membership is a real value. Gives me peace of mind when it comes to technology woes. Much better option for help than dealing with the monstrosity of Apple stores!

I renewed my membership because I had a really bad issue where a gaming pc had to be sent out for repair (motherboard) after 6 months of ownership. The PC came back looking like it was chewed up and dropped. Best Buy gave me a full cried for the original price. I was shocked and thankful.

A great value. Computer was hacked and the membership allowed me to have the virus removed and ensure me that I can bring in to be cleaned of any other problems. Also was able to bring in and have Antivirus installed.

This membership is a good value if you purchase many Best Buy tech items like i do. It gives you a peace of mind knowing your purchases are protected!
