I had been a Total Tech Support member for about 5 years now. I originally bought the membership because I was buying a TV at the time and wanted the free installation and tech support that the membership came with. Soon after that I bought a stove and dishwasher when we re-did our kitchen. I also had Wi-Fi extenders installed a couple of time. Over the last few years I used the service quite a bit. I haven't really used it the last couple of years though, but I kept the membership as a "just in case" thing. Well, last weekend our LG washing machine developed a leak and I decided to buy another. It wasn't until we had picked out a new one and I was arranging installation of the new washer that I found out that the program had been changed and installation was no longer included. Not only that but I was being charged $60 for Best Buy to take away the old washer. So Best Buy got rid of the features that made me buy the plan in the first place. I cancelled the membership yesterday as it is basically useless to me now.

I love my Best Buy Total. It is so nice to know when you need help it's there.

This service used to come with free in home services. Ive mounted my tvs, set up home theaters, had them wire up all of my consoles and streaming devices all for free. What a value! And it automatically put protection on everything I bought. Now, they took away the free services, but i have to keep paying to keep the protection.

Membership plan is a great value and includes unlimited Geek Squad support.
