I really don’t even know what this membership includes. Felt like it was an upsell when I brought my laptop in for maintenance with geek squad. I had an appointment, but still had to wait 30 minutes. I dropped my laptop off to be cleaned up. It took four days. I had to follow up, to see when it was done. Was told that it was going to take longer because two of The employees quit and they were understaffed. My computer is still acting weird so I don’t know that it was fixed at all.

The membership is a good value should something go wrong with your equipment. The Geek Squad help is worth the price alone.

The squad took care of my issues, like they always do. Didn't even have an appointment one time, and still took care of me. Getting money's worth, for sure

It's great to have the security knowing my bike and lap top will be fixed if something happens.

This laptop is great and works great and so far it works

never have gotten a tech who spoke clear English. Some are entirely un-understandable and I've asked to be transferred. Some are clearly unprepared for the job.

I subscribed for years, but I just dropped it because it no longer includes techs coming to the house to work on my computer issues. I liked that service. If you buy a lot of Apple gear, it may be worth the price now.

Total is pretty good. I just wish Best Buy itself had more options sometimes. That being said I’ve gotten some good deals via their Total member pricing and the default two year coverage on every item is a nice bonus. Certainly not for everyone though, you really need to buy a lot of tech or games to get your value out of it. If you do that though it’s a nice program and of the two years I’ve had it it’s been pretty good.

It’s a needed service if you have any digital equipment.
