Done right and on time. My son needed to upgrade his computer and operating system for his school work and needed to make sure that everything on his Windows 10 computer was correctly moved over to Windows 11. You can try and do it yourself, but if you want to make sure it is done right, this is the way to go.

I love Best Buy! They have an awesome Geek Squad that cleaned out and protects my rather old computer. The store itself is upbeat and always has a great deal! I am a senior who is fairly well educated in modern equipment however there is always something new to learn. I like that although I have relocated to another state Best Buy is still the same. I have been a Best Buy fan for quite awhile!

IO purchased a new phone and a new laptop. The phone swap went reasonably well, although it took almost five hours to transfer 250 GB of data from the old phone to the new phone. The laptop swap hasn't gone as well. All the files were transferred, but the way my Outlook .pst files were attaqched to the new Outlook didn't work. It appears that the files were attached to a different "account".

I felt I would benefit from the Best Buy membership. I have actually used it and it was worth the cost, The Geek Squad was able to solve my issue with minimal input from me, and I've had no further issues. I would recommend this purchase.

I’ve had this membership for only about 4 or 6 months and I saved about $1000 already. I’m a first time PC builder so anytime I did something wrong or I had a questions Geek squad helped. If you are a first time builder like me, this a great way to tinker with your pc and not have to worry about frying anything.

I've had this membership for a long time and I really do value the way that I can go to the Geek Squad with any problem I may have and it's resolved. The service I receive is outstanding and there've been time when I'd have been left in a situation wher I'd have spent a long long time without my computer if it had not been for the Geek Squad. In fact, there's been times when I'd have resorted to purchasing a new laptop because the problem was so far out of my ability to handle. Thanks Geek Squad!!

If you have multiple big ticket items such as TVs, iPhones, refrigerators, etc. this warranty is good. I like the peace of mind that I have that anything I purchase is covered without the need to worry about the warranty question. Taking away 1 star because it used to be excellent when TV mounting was covered. Still a good value.

As a Senior citizen, this membership is a big help! Since retiring, technology has progressed very rapidly and I appreciate being able to pick the brains of the “Geeks,” Add to that, the member prices and unlimited Geek Squad support are reassuring!

Yes, I would highly recommend membership. I have used it several times already. Plus you have extended time to return products. This was an unexpected surprise. The associates that waited on me were very knowledgeable and professional and resolved all my concerns. I was very pleased their service.

I like my new KitchenAid Dishwasher & Stove. Excellent installation service & service call. Installation crew came on time & left very clean. Products were cheaper than any competitors. I bought tv for my father also which is delivering on Tuesday February 17th. 2026.

The Geek squad is great. But there is a disconnection with the delivery team. I recently had a problem. I had two conflicting texts. One said “delivery around 12:27 PM and a second one “delivery between 8:30 AM-12:30 PM. The first message was received 4 days in advance and the second the day before. This conflicting information resulted in the part not being delivered because I had a Doctors appointment that I could have cancel or change but didn’t because the first text gave enough time to be back home on time for the delivery. The second text one was to late to do something about it and two it was too late to change my Doctors appointment, end result no delivery on the scheduled day. The delivery person on the phone couldn’t or didn’t want to accommodate a different time later that day. Is hard for me to understand why he couldn’t shift my delivery for another and still be able to do mine. He was very cut and dry talking to me. He didn’t express any concerns about delivering my item the same day. He just simply said “no I can’t do it today it has to be another day. Bottom line I am not happy with Best Buy delivery system and the communication between one end and the other (csr service). On the other end I am happy with my TV. It has a beautiful sound and screen. The Bose sound bar was doing awesome until it stopped working. I hope the next one doesn’t have the same problem.

If you are in your 70's like me, and don't have the slightest on what to do on your computer, I highly recommend buying the Geek Squad warranty. Why? because you don't have to go to the Best Buy with issues or questions. Just dial the Geek Squad and ask for Remote Help. They will take over your computer and take care of whatever issues or questions you might have. And you can call then 24/7 as many times as you need. without leaving your home. Also get the Web Root virus protection. The Geeks will help downloaded for you and you will have a peace of mind that your computer will be virus free

We needed to have our home desktop computer scanned for viruses. The associate told us about the membership. We were very happy with our service on our computer. The associates that we worked with were very pleasant and helpful for us old folks.

This was a good purchase as it allowed the transfer of data from my old computer to this one. Also had an issue with another item and was able to get in touch with someone who helped get the item up and running. The AI answering was somewhat less than helpful.

I’ve been using Best Buy Total Membership, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my tech purchases. The benefits are genuinely worth it. I love the 24/7 tech support, which has saved me multiple times with quick and professional help. The extended warranty and accidental damage protection give me peace of mind, especially when buying expensive devices like laptops and phones. Highly recommend the Total Membership if you want better protection, convenience, and great value for your tech purchases!

The Best Buy Total membership is a great value! The discounts are great, and the free protection plans are an incredible perk! I bought several Apple products as Christmas presents and the free Apple Care paid for the Best Buy Total membership!

We believe this membership it worth the money, over the 3 years we have had it we usually save enough to make up for the membership price. I usually dont buy warranties for tvs or appliances but i do for ear buds or headphones and woth 4 of us in the house we typically use the replacement plan once a year if not 2 or 3 times.

After a few years of using the Insignia Fire TV, I feel like this is a nice upgrade. I don't really like the platform that was built with the Fire TV. This Roku TV is easier to use and the sound quality is way better than the Fire TV. Another thing I don't like about Fire TV is the limited storage that Amazon have on the TV. They only include 4GB and if you used up the available space then you will have to use an external storage device or delete some apps to make room for new apps.

I only give this 4 stars because I never used the service, although I paid $200 for the protection. But it does last a year which was a nice safety net for my products. If you’re clumsy or damage things easily, I think this would be a worthy purchase. But I did not have use for it.

I never always buy at Best Buy Port Arthur, so that I can get the Geek Squad help if I need it. I forgot to do this review at the time, but now that I just bought a new (expensive) laptop, I want to share my experience about why buying Total Tech is the smartest move you will ever make. Update to a recent purchase and why I highly recommend Total Tech: My new laptop, a Lenovo Legion Pro 5i, rates an A+, but it would not have without the Geek Squad, which was amazing! I cannot praise them enough for getting me through a difficult setup. Microsoft is being so intrusive now days that the average person is at their mercy to setup a device in a way that is acceptable and which successfully minimizes Microsoft's outrageously aggressive promotion of their products. Truly, as far as I am concerned, my Total Tech cost paid for itself with this one purchase because I more than likely would have returned this $2,000 laptop (hey, don't judge, it was the only model with the ports I needed) if it had not been for the professionalism, friendliness, knowledge, and patience of Jacob (Geek Squad Tech), Emily (Geek Squad Manager), and Michael (the employee who set me up with Jacob). They were all beyond amazing. I am a granny who has had a horrible few years (lost my husband after a horrendous 5 year struggle with aggressive dementia), and I struggle to cope with any stress these days. The Geek Squad employees at Port Arthur, Texas, just did everything they could to minimize my stress. I just cannot tell you how much I appreciated them. So, yes, the Lenovo Legion gets 5 stars, but it was because the Geek Squad gets 10. I HIGHLY recommend the Port Arthur Geek Squad and Best Buy Port Arthur, and, now that they did their magic to configure and customize my laptop, I am thrilled with it as well. Truly, getting Total Tech (for several years now, even while struggling to stay in my home while my husband was ill) was one of the best decisions I EVER made!
