    It would Be a good value IF i could get things straightened out. Alas, they informed me i eould have to pay Geek Squad again to redo what they undid the first time they came. We've had an appointment at the store, so half the problem is solved but they want to charge me $120.00 to come out and plug in the telephone, computer scanner, lamp and other electronics they un plugged while the boss was working at the other computer.

    The biggest negative for this membership in my opinion is that they removed the perk dor free installations, so no more free installations on car electronics, home electronics, or appliances. However depening on how much spend per year at Best Buy the amount of warranties, points banking, discounts, and free shipping pays for itself pretty fast.

    If you're planning on buying electronics from best buy, I know.This is probably gonna be expensive by a year round.It is worth it one hundred percent

    LOVE it. the geek squad assistance we get, computer tune ups, over the phone help and the problems solved every time 100% of the time so far without having to bring it in to store

    Good for in-person help but not remote

    I have had Geek Squad and now Total Tech for close to five years. Almost all service technicians have been helpful and knew their stuff. Recently I purchased a new Dell with Windows 11 and had zero problems. Until I had to have my modem replaced. My printer stopped communicating with my computer. I called Total Tech three times and they worked remotely for literally hours. Each time I had to leave the computer to get something to eat. Not one of them called me back when finished and all three indicated in the chat that they had fixed the problem. However, that was not true! I have not been able to print for a couple months. For the past two days I have been researching it nonstop and today I solved the problem. It was as simple as removing the printer software and reinstalling it to recognize the new modem. Educated technicians should have known that was the problem, especially when I told the second and third one exactly what happened!

In many cases Remote fixes may not be easy to verify that the fix has been completed as testing a devices function like a printer would need to have a test page printed and verified.     Great value, The biggest positive is the included product protection, which provides up to 24 months of Best Buy Protection or AppleCare+ on most new purchases while your membership is active, plus 24/7 Geek Squad tech support on all your devices.

    This was really like a last sec deal, was not planning on adding more to my purchase. Glad I did unfortunAtely i was having a really bad month when everything just wanted to break. God knows i dont make the money to fix everything. Just a good pleAce of mind.

    I have had to use this membership several times over the years, it has never let me down. Neither have the geek squad, especially after a recent transaction with. My turn around time was less that 24 hours and I am completely satisfied.

    Ms., Samantha at the Porter Ranch, CA (she is awesome and provides the best customer service). I will recommend to my friends to visit the Porter Ranch Best Buy and ask for Samantha (short Sam). I am really satisfied with the Porter Ranch Geek Squad employees, which they have shown me a great customer service.
