This membership is great! I originally purchased it because I needed 4 terabytes of data transferred from old hard drives to new ones and it was definitely worth it. They did the transfer in just a few days. I also get deals with the membership which are very helpful.

I purchase this because im building my first PC. If something goes sideways i have Geek squad for help sand with the extended return window i though this would nice to have.

The benefits are excellent, especially the 2-year Geek Squad replacement plan. I used to add it to every purchase, but now I have an annual subscription through My Best Buy Total, which makes things much more convenient.

I've had this insurance for several years, it has been beneficial to have when needed. I've used it to make significant repairs a laptop , including keyboard, display, motherboard and memory, which extended the life for another two years, so far.

I have been a Total Tech Member 3 years since I bought my laptop in Nov 2020 at Best Buy. I love the membership. Yes it is expensive, but I call the Geek Squad at least 6 times or more a year for help. They are curtious, knowledgeable and very helpful. I love that they stay on the phone with you to answer questions. Seems I might call for help on one thing and before I hang up I have learned something else too. I recently learned I can call in once a month for a free clean sweep of my computer to delete back files not needed that would slow down my system. I am disappointed that starting this year they eliminated the free home service. In exchange they dropped the price from $200 to $180. I only needed the home service once after several agents couldn't help with an issue over the phone. I have only come into the store for help once and it was a great experience. I freaked out when I got all kinds of bells and whistles going off on my laptop thinking I was hacked. I called right away and got a same day appointment and had the problem fixed in the store within 2 hours after I called for help. I was not hacked. The agent commended me for doing the right thing and not following the prompts on my laptop screen to call the phone number given. I figured it was a scam. While I was there, the geek squad agent in the store saw my pop up ads and he added the free Ad Block software and no more ads! Great job!

So glad they told me about this membership. I am glad to have a sense of security.

Great service I had computer issues from a different company and got help from other sources with no help geek squad helped with a problem I had for months worth every penny.
