I have been a Best Buy total member for several years. Unfortunately, I have had to use product support twice. Both times I have received sub par service. First, don't use the chat support, they will have you running around for a half an hour before they even make a repair appointment for you. First I bought a deep freezer that konked out on me. They told me that because it was an insignia product, that they wouldn't fix it. I submitted an application for a voucher for all the food I lost and received nothing back. Then yesterday my Maytag washer died on me and after getting the run around for 30 minutes, they finally tell me that they will send someone to repair my machine and that it will cost me $79! Why didnt the salesperson specify this? We asked him, if we have trouble, we have free repairs, right, and he said yes. This is absolutely unacceptable. What a waste of money this has been.

The Best Buy total tech is smart and really good I got all my stuff fixed

They fix everything but also charge you for renewal without asking.

Didn't see the value for the pricepoint, so I cancelled.

Sometimes it has been really helpful, but last time it wasn't. Probably depends what sort of problem you have and when it happens.

I don't shop at Best Buy enough to warrant getting this. The only reason I had it at all is because the sales rep misrepresented it as not billing my card after having it for the first year. These types of lies are a plague in our no-integrity society.

Installation of electrical equipment purchased used to be included. This feature lost value.

The rules have changed and are now more confusing than ever. Does not show half of the items I have purchased as being "covered" so not sure I will renew. ASK about the plan in DETAIL BEFORE

I had this and never used it kept auto renewing so not a value for me, a bit expensive for still having to pay for services

Best Buy took lots of the incentives associated with the membership and it’s now almost worthless. Waste of money $190 annually for not really anything.

I am highly dissatisfied with my Best Buy Total Membership Plan. I returned multiple devices for my Ring surveillance that I had purchased for my home and families safety and protection. The devices were defected and non functional. I had to have Geek Squad come to my residence multiple times to uninstall and reinstall new Ring surveillance cameras for my residence which was a head ache alone in itself. I also, had negative phone interactions and negative in person encounterments with Best Buy Associates. Overall, I am highly dissatisfied with the services and products purchased at Best Buy. Now I am stuck with products that do no work with no coverage that Best Buy was unwilling log provide a solution to the problem for the entire inconvenience caused to me and my family.

Good service if you buy lots of products through Best Buy.

Totally worth the cost, and would recommend this to anymore.
