    It is OK I guess especially if you like to buy apple products or digital video gaming cards you can get a small discount for that other than that it is just so so you still have to kick out Money if you need something fixed, geek squad will come out and just give you a free diagnostics

    This was a real help for the first year, but after I renewed, I was told that the on-site help I need for connectivity issues would incur and additional charge! This is hardly "total tech" support.

    Your custmer service dept. Is non existent. If you do get a person after trying different extension or holding you can understand them.

    New membership benefits and service have been sub par. After using Total Tech for many years, this year I encountered poor service. I purchased home security system but they told me they cannot install it. They could have told me when I purchased the items and installation but they called me after no one showed up to install. Similar problems with proper installation of electronics and Wi-Fi related product. My local store was going thru renovation, and I had to take my laptop etc to other stores and even with the scheduled appointments I had to wait a long time. It was chaotic. And even when I returned some items, my points never got credited. Therefore, I decided to cancel it. Going through all the hassle is not worth it.

    Be wary of “promises” for Total Membership

    They sell you on that Best Buy will take care of any repairs or replacements. Well that’s wrong. A brand new TV was opened this past week (bough in Nov, and was waiting for remodel to be completed), tv lasted 15 seconds and then went black. Never turned back on. Contacted Best Buy through chat and they said must go through manufacturer. (Complete opposite of what was sold on the Total membership). So now I wait for manufacturer and repair of my tv (unknown timeframe) after paying a $300 membership that doesn’t deliver in its “promises”. Know what you’re getting before you become sold on their “total” membership. Next time I will just return direct to the store for replacement.

    After 4 years of My Best Buy Total membership, I canceled it. The Bloomingdale, IL Total Tech staff didn't help resolve repairing my PC after multiple attemps and management is clueless. The perks of free TV mounting and install has been removed. It's a glorifed money making scam. STAY AWAY.

    I was told they changed it because they were losing lots of money and one of the big wigs got fired due to free installs. This is why they now offer a discount on the installs. #SoLame

    I honestly don’t know if I’m getting what I pay for. Every time I order an appliance, it comes late. But the deals are good and my credit card always has a promotion so that’s good too. The customer service is trash.

    I don’t understand why I was ever made a Best Buy Total member. I researched Total Tech, found it a good fit, and signed up, since it included shipping and appliance installation. Without me unsubscribing, Best Buy canceled Total Tech and automatically switched me to Total, a different product I never agreed to. This feels like an unauthorized charge and a deceptive business practice.

    No more free installations, don’t like fact you have changed what many of us were sold in past. We should have been grandfathered to keep those original purchase items we were sold on.

    I have to admit I miss the old membership because so much more and it was only a few dollars more per year. I was able to get my TV's mounted, my computer set up, ring door bell installed, protection on my purchases all included.

    I am a loyal Total customer for more then 5 years not anymore terrible service , can not get to the real person , store will not support any serious problems with installation or defected product in the store feels like the guidance from the management is deflect and not support

    This membership was good for a discount on a kitchen appliance set. The discount was over the $200 cost. The free install helped as I was recovering from surgery. Over the next 12 months we attempted to used the plan with help on cell phone repairs. 3 different brands of phones and each was either unable to be repaired by Bestbuy or the cost of the repair was the part with free labor. Bestbuy's price for the part was marked up to be over the cost of getting the part and install elsewhere. If Bestbuy would have charged a reasonable price for the part the free labor would have really been free and made the plan valuable.
