    The membership is a great benefit for multiple electronics. Yearly cost covers all items purchased that year. Just as dependable as AppleCare.

    Total tech was a much better value than this current itteration of the program. It may be still great for smaller purchases.

    We started a my Best Buy total account in 2023. Needless to say, anytime we tried to actually use the protection this was supposed to offer, Best Buy would not allow us to use it. We finally just ended the account after 2 years.

    Run away as far as you can from this "product". At best it is false advertisement, at worst it is a class action lawsuit. You still pay for service call and warranty period is a joke. I have a longer review for a product I bought that needed serviced through this product.

    Since Best Buy downgraded this membership's benefits, it will be hard for me to continue renewing the subscription. I wish they had maintained the same benefits and increased the price of the membership instead.

    It went up in price and on top of that. I used to get it free services like installation for TV mounts. When I got it, then 6 months later, they no longer offer it, even though now I'm paying more. Kinda sucks

    The membership is great but they did remove some of the features that made membership well worth it. I will keep it for now but you may want to look into others.

    I spent $200 on this membership and it was supposed to cover all of my electronics, yet every product that I brought to the geek squad they were unable to address for numerous amounts of reasons. Eventually I just gave up and canceled the subscription!

    The example review you view before typing your own is pretty funny. Probably wont be renewing due to BB insistence on using USPS to ship and not Fedex. One item took 15 days to arrive depite the 2 day shipping thar youre supposed to get. I only asked the chat to reccomend a product once. The item was 3x as much as the original replacement item and lasted 3 months before degrading (memory card). So that aspect isnt worth it either. Will be cancelling before next renewal.

    I've had best buy's Total tech support for over 10 years. Used to LOVE it, but no where near as good as it used to be since they changed the program.

    I bought Best Buy Total membership 3 years ago, when it included free delivery and installation of appliances. it was an excellent value. But now I have to pay for delivery and installation, without discount, like non-members.

    I was told I wouldn't have to pay for a Geek person coming. They changed the plan after one year and I was stuck twice paying $90 each I think. I think this is not right.

    This used to be so much better you used to be able to get free TV delivery and installs with the yearly membership but unfortunately they took that away. That was the initial reason I got the yearly membership probably won’t be renewing.

    I purchased the plan in June of 2023 and for the first year I was very happy with it. I renewed it in June 2024 then in July I made my first big purchase using the new plan only to find out Best Buy had made a number of changes to the plan, than weren't in the customers benefit. Look closely at the plan before you purchase it !!!!!!!!

    Don't buy Samsung Fire Hazard Best Buy Knows it

    They sell Samsung kitchen appliances that they know can cause a fire in your home. The dishwashers have leak elements that won't let the dishwasher stop, the Samsung refrigerator has a cooling system defect and my Samsung gas stove turns on and lets gas leak every time you lean on it. Do not buy from Best Buy until they stop selling hazards to your home. There are several class action lawsuits against them and hopefully Best Buy will get one put on them soon. Negligent of selling defective Samsung kitchen products. All of my appliances are defective! All dead between 4-5 years and my house almost burned down if I weren't here.
