It was nice to have this as a back up in case anything did happen, but ultimately I didn't end up using it. It was very easy to cancel once I didn't have the expendable income to maintain it, so I say go for it if you can!

It’s nice knowing that all of your products are backed up with the top notch warranty. And the member benefits are great. We purchased all of our electronics through Best Buy any problem that has risen was taking care of.

Member discounts, reward points that do not expire, no cost warranty extensions on most products, Apple care, etc are great! However, the after sale support is even better.

the Geek squad members are very friendly and know more about computer's than I do. but their fix was trial and error. the price. Sold me a new Wifi. but that was not the fix. I like the membership, but the service fee did not seem fair or just. I was fine with the crew, however not the policy they must follow.

When you need your lap top fixed this is the place to come. I was happy with the service and the customer service people are wonderful. They know what they are doing and explains everything clearly

I’ve been a Best Buy Total member for many years and have always purchased all of my electronics through Best Buy specifically for the Total membership benefits. At this point, the only real value left is the extended AppleCare coverage. Installation is no longer included, which is a major downgrade from what this membership used to offer. Product support has also gone downhill. Instead of actually helping, customer service usually just points you toward in-home service — for an additional fee. That’s not support, it’s an upsell. If it weren’t for the extended AppleCare, I would cancel. Best Buy needs to stop stripping benefits and reconsider what “Total” is supposed to mean for long-time, loyal customers. I’m recommending only for the AppleCare benefit.

It was a very reasonable addition to the cost of having malicious malware/software removed from my laptop computer. I may not need to use it for this in the future, but it gives me peace of mind that if something goes wrong within the next year I won't have that inital/upfront cost to have it looked at and fixed. I haven't had a chance to read and find out the additional advantages/features/perks it offers; and even if I don't use any of them in the upcoming year it's worth the peace of mind it is giving me.

I have saved enough money where the membership has been "free" or "paid itself". I think it's a good thing to have. It includes Geek Squad and they will help with any electronic even if it wasn't purchased through Best Buy. Would highly recommend

I’m very pleased with the Best Buy Total Membership! I’ve been able to use this program for several of my computers! I’m sure that I’ll continue to use their services. I have an iPhone as well as several other computers and several iPads. I’ll use the Best Buy services as I need them. Wonderful product!

This is the one way I know my problems with the computer will be solved. I usually have them check things online so I don't have to bring it in which is really helpful to me. Have used this for several years and I highly recommend it.

I feel this membership is a great value, the Geek Squad level of expertise and knowledge makes this a must-have, even for the computer minded individual. It just takes the stress out of having to figure out minor or hopefully no major issues, that may crop up!

I love my total membership. I was able to get assistance installing a new software and some assistance in how to use it. It’s like having IT on retainer.

This membership paid for itself. I purchased a couple of high-dollar items and was informed that if they went on sale within 60 days, because I purchased the membership, I could come back and be price-matched and refunded the difference, so I would essentially get the sale price. Within about 4 weeks, they were both on sale and I got the refund. Definitely worth it for the money it saved me.

My son’s computer failed to boot up properly after receiving an OS update. We went back to the Best Buy store where it was purchased and the Geek Squad teem expeditiously diagnosed and repair the computer in a short period of time. Having the Total Care program saved me over $380..00. It is well worth the price for the service!

I have used my Total membership several times, and have been happy with the ease of making an appointment, as well as the knowledgeable and friendly staff. It is a little expensive, but it is worth it for peace of mind and easy access to help.

This membership was the best purchased I ever made. I utilized its perks. I purchased a washing machine, got 2 stereo installations, had my computer checked out. All FREE with my Total Tech. The price I paid for membership saved me a ton of money

First time I've ever joined the program. Seems a little too high but give apple expensive to repair laptop screens make it worth the cost.

Paid for itself already when comparing the purchase of individual warranties to the value of the best buy total protection for purchases made during the annual membership. Totally worth it if you have more than one big ticket item to protect!
