    Just nope. I did not have a good installation experience. The install crew was 3 people for some reason… for a dishwasher. That seemed excessive. They didn’t remove shoes or use shoe protector things on a rainy day. They asked to use my paper towels and bath towels for the cleanup. the dishwasher is installed crooked, unlevel, and the door doesn’t close properly. I was told “that’s the best it can go in because of all the cords behind it”. Pics are how it looks with the door completely closed. Not impressed & wont be using Best Buy for an appliance installation again. The dishwasher itself is nice.

    Terrible experience with install. I had the professionals arrive at my door and they spoke very rudely with my wife. They they started measuring the slot and stating that the dishwasher wont fit. For context, I had a bosch dishwasher with the same dimensions as the Thermador one for height. They refused to install unless I signed off on a damage waiver. After I took it upon myself to measure and show thatm that the dishwasher will fit, they agreed to proceed. Then the real nightmare begun. They had no idea on how to pull out the previous dishwasher and they damaged my countertop and floor. I had to pull out the previous one myself and push the new one in since they did not want to install it. Eventually everything fit and the dishwasher worked but this was anything but a pro installation experience. Extremely disappointed with the service.

    I bought a dishwasher with installation service. installation service  is very worse...without  any issue refused to install and mark it completed. After that it was going very worse lot of time call in best buy customer care  ..hours of waiting on call then schedule again installation but no one comes  for installation second time as scheduled ...at last  i had cancel my purchase and scheduled for return pickup after many calls ..again no one come for pickup  as scheduled ..then i had dropped machine on store by myself..  but they charge installation service cost and not refunded  without any installation/uninstallation/pickup .. as i pay best buy installation service ..think  good credibility .. It is costly for other competitors  also but not worth.. it's better to take installation from outside . It happened to me it's my experience with installation service.   Not suggest buying installation service.   I Bought different dishwasher machine from a different shop. They installed a new dishwasher without any issue  .

    First group of installers came and said because there was a lazy susan cabinet between dishwasher and sink they couldn't install. Spoke with Total Tech and purchased longer drain and water line and replaced water shut. off valve. Next group of installers came and they still couldn't install because. of lazy susan they couldn't be sure there wasn't going to be a kink in the line behind the lazy susan. Called Best Buy again and they said they were going to send a different group of installers. I called Best Buy two days ago to verify the new group of installers knew what the issue was. I was told they would get back to me by Friday. It is Saturday and still haven't heard back. Installers are coming on Monday and I don't know if they are going complete the job. Unless your dishwasher is right next to your sink I wouldn't waste my money on Total Tech free install.

    Best Buy installation team insisted they installed this correctly and the reason it wasn't draining was either the garbage disposal or a defective dishwasher. Had the disposal unit changed and machine checked out by LG. LG tech said it was probably a twist in the discharge tube and have Best Buy redo installation. Best Buy team took days and many cancelations before coming to correct it. Refused to pull the machine again -- insisting it was installed correctly. Called LG back and he pulled the machine to show the twisted discharge tube. He straightened it as much as possible and it has been working since. Best Buy installation team was third party. I now know only to allow Geek team to install anything. It took more than 6 months for correct installation plus the cost of a new garbage disposal unit and repair to water shut off valve damaged by Best Buy team.

    Dishwasher supply hose hanging over silverware dra

    The wayer supply hose was incorrectly installed so that it is over and dragging into my silverware drawer. I tried to schedule the. to come out to fix this issue and they came hours before anyone was to be home. They happend to come when my son had stopped by but he had no idea what was wrong and according to what they told him 1 the person I spoke to on the phone had not told rhe install team anything. They thought they wete here to do a new install. 2 the repair was supposed to be scheduled for between 2:30 and 7 pm but they arrived before noon. And 3 someone was supposed to call me back to arrange a refund of my installation charge as the repair guys can't come when they are scheduled so i will have to hire somebody who can come when we are home to fix it!

    Extremely Disappointed - Poor Install Work!

    The original install was scheduled Friday 6/3/22. The team arrived and determined that they didn't have the right kit (needed a 9ft kit versus 6ft), and left the unit in our garage to return on Tuesday 6/7/22. When they returned, they still did not have the right kit but proceeded to install with a makeshift conduit using a copper pipe from their truck to connect the 2 hoses. Water leaked through the conduit, creating damage beneath the cabinet and the wood floor. Filed a claim through Sedgwick (Best Buy Insurance) and waiting to hear back. Will update as appropriate, but very disappointed and frustrated w/ the extra effort just to get a dishwasher replaced.

    They used a 3rd party Pacific Express and they damaged my countertop and cabinets. My kitchen sink sprinkler head is stuck. They cut through underneath my countertop and through my cabinet to run the dishwasher pipes and cords through. I had already had 2 other dishwashers installed they were supposed to follow the same path. Very disappointed. I didnt want them to do the installation however Bestbuy doesn’t give much of a choice. Every 3rd party contractor they use have 1 and 2 star on google review. Best Buy need to stop cutting corners and hire better 3rd party contractors or spend the funds to train the actual geeksquad to do the jobs. The picture depict holes and tubes that were not there before and should not be there now.

    This is a total hack job. Installer showed signs of either being a novice, tired, or just a lack of caring or all of the above. So I have drain, power, water supply screwed together. In a huge hole the installer made in my handmade cabinet. Good grief….mind you it’s messy here, but look at how there was no hole to giant hole. Makes zero sense. This guy acted like he was a plumber and he’s looking at me in my work clothes telling me something he absolutely knows is wrong, or he thinks I don’t understand? The draw can’t close now and this is foolish work. The mice now have a full tunnel to run freely. Best Buy, get people who are licensed or properly trained and that don’t bring teens to work that look lethargic and not interested to work. Also, where’s my garbage compactor? That didn’t show up at all.

    (This is a review of the installation, not the dishwasher.) The Best Buy contracted installers damaged my countertop and installed my dishwasher so that I have to unplug my disposal in order to use it, without mentioning either of these issues before they left in a hurry. Also left a mess of sawdust and trash from the installation. Also informed me that I needed a longer-than-standard hose (true) and that it would cost $200 (what?). I contact Best Buy and they scheduled a re-installation to hard-wire the dishwasher but after two phone calls from the would-be re-installer and the dispatcher(?) to clarify what I needed done, no one ever showed up on the scheduled date of service or contacted me again.

    This company that best by hired to delivered was terrible. First they did not speak english. They could not tell you anything abut washer or dryer , but just read the book. They dropped it out of their truck (which we saw completely with our eyes). So both were electronically damaged. I told best buys and no one seemed to care. They need their own delivery people and they sould speak engish unless if they were going to a non english household. This wS a terrible experience.

    My dishwasher is sitting crooked

    We have had our dishwasher about 2 months now. Best Buy offered free delivery and installation, we didn't have the time to install it ourselves, so we took advantage of it. The time when they came to our home was in the middle of the day, while my wife and I were at work. Our son's girlfriend, didn't have class that day, so she came to be here while it was installed. I don't know how hard it is to check to see if it is sitting crooked or not. While I didn't notice right away, my wife did. In fact, that was the first thing she said to me. She is right too. You can see from the top that the handle sticks out more on one end that the other. I took a pencil and drew a line across the top against the counter. You can see that it is not even all the way across, it is slanted. Not much, but enough to make a difference. I have attached 2 pictures of it. There are 2 different angles of it. I didn't even bother to contact BB about this, because I knew that nobody would care, let alone come back out to fix the problem. It drives my wife insane, but we have learned to live with it. One would think that people who install for a living would know to check this. I guess accuracy in installation (and many things) is now a thing of the past. If you have the extra time, install it yourself. I wish we would have.

    we were first told they would come between 8 and 12 am. we were then called the day before and told they would come between 4 and 8 pm. We called the sales peron and said that was no good so if was changed to between 12 and 4 pm. When the installers arrived they told us that the panel would probably not fit. They then told us that they were able to do something to make it work. When they finished the installation the dishwasher was sticking out and they said that was because it was a different size than my old dishwasher. and they said they could not put the bottom wood piece on as it no longer fit and I would have to call someone to replace it. I called my contractor and when he came he said the dishwashers are all a standard size. He pulled it out and pushed it back and it all fit fine. However, when he pushed it in we saw that the wood on the side was nicked. It appears that the original installers intentionally left the dishwasher sticking out so we would not see that they nicked the wood.

    Purchase was easy But then came the delivery and installation Which I paid to Best Buy not a third party contractor the issues began What I got was a promised window of 7-9 but no one showed and no one called Returned to store and store manager dismissed my issue and said it was not Best Buys problem about install but tomake sure I give Best Buy a good review I wish I could Installers arrived at 12:30 installed the dishwasher with out proper electrical termination and crooked They told me in the only English they knew “No leak” I’ve tried to get in touch with Best Buy customer service but have had no luck or response I would never give Anyone a recommendation to use Best Buy My install issues still not corrected

    The overall installation for the diswasher was ok. However, the bottom panel to the dishwasher is missing or it wasn't installed. It looks funny seeing the dishwasher's legs on the bottom. Please advise.
