Installers called an hour early and I explained that I was at a doctor's appointment and wouldn't be home until after noon, which was when our appointment was scheduled (between noon - 8pm). They said they'd go to another installation and come back. I called them at 11:45am to tell them that I was on my way and they said that they've waited in front of my house for 45 minutes and that they had to leave and wouldn't stay. I got home at noon and was happy to see that they were still parked in front of my house. Yet, I was curious as to why they seemed angry and reluctant to install the dishwasher. (Later I found out that their battery had died and they were waiting for a battery jump so they were angry that I got home and, finding them still there, wanted the dishwasher installed, not knowing that they had no intention of installing it. They raced through the installation and told me to run it through one cycle before using it. I did that and when it opened, all of the cardboard packing materials (left inside the dishwasher) were all over the inside of the dishwasher and the blue tape holding everything together, was still attached to the racks, arms, etc. Plus, the racks kept rolling into the dishwasher while trying to load it. After trying a few loads of dishes and having them come out dirty and hazy, I asked for repairmen. The new repairmen told me that the dishwasher was installed incorrectly and not level. They left, telling me to purchase a dishwasher detox which would clean out any cardboard or other residue. I did that and have been trying ever since to get a clean load of dishes, but still cannot. I'm now scheduled for another repair on 5/27/22. I'll update if needed.

When the installer showed up (Best Buy is third party plumbers) They were bound and determined to sell me extras things they said I needed. Fortunately I’m very aware of city code and plumbing electrical requirements. Already had installed quick disconnect electrical a shut off valve for just the dishwasher located in easy accessible location with plenty of braided waterline to remove the dishwasher with very little effort. He did not like our shut off valve, it is connected to a copper pipe that is K pipe which is two times thicker then requirement . the valve is only a few years old I later showed it to another plumber he said he was perfectly satisfied with the shut off valve. The first plumber in question left with his assistant rudely out of the door not even leaving the dishwasher, even though he offered it and my wife said Yash leave it he just left. I strongly suggest other sources for appliances require an install. I had to wait a week for another plumber to be available for Best Buy to make another install attempt be prepared to spend a few extra hundred dollars.

The individuals who installed our washer / dryer were professional and new exactly what they were doing.
