The installer told us the dishwasher would not fit under our counter (although it fit fine) and just wanted to get out of there. Although it was a standard fit and the one he replaced was the same size. Couldn't understand why he was so difficult to work with and unhelpful. Not Best Buys normal representatives.

The dishwasher installation for my Best Buy purchase was the worst experience I have ever had for an installation. The first team did not install it fully and it was protruding out from the cabinets. They did not pre-drill the holes and therefore splintered the wood of the cabinets. They budged a pipe under the sink and I had to pay for an emergency plumber to come out and repair it. When I called Best Buy the first adviser hung up on me saying that she was 25 minutes over her shift. I had waited 45 minutes for someone to pick up at that point. I immediately called back and after 35 mins spoke with another adviser who set up a re-do on the installation and told me to send him pictures of the damage which I did. I never heard anything back. The second team came out a week later and during their install showed me the damage to the cabinets that the first team did and said that it was not installed properly the first time because they did not widen the hole for the hose which caused the hose to be back behind the dishwasher preventing it from fully sliding in. I called to check on my claim for the damages to my kitchen and the advisor (3rd one by this point) told me that he could see the notes about the damage but the previous advisor had not filed the claim. He did it and now I am inconvenienced again getting quotes etc. to get this sorted out. If I had to do this all over again I would not pay $155 for Best Buy to install my dishwasher.
