Installed Defective Unit

The team that installed this dishwasher never allowed us to look inside, but started a Quick Wash of the dishwasher immediately after installation to “get all of the factory dirt out”. Upon opening the dishwasher after the wash, we found one of the casters in the bottom rack broken off and one of the rollers from the top rack cracked off. Additionally, there was a significant hole in the back of the dishwasher where the metal was bent in, likely during shipping or transport. There is no way this could have been missed by the installation team. So, because they immediately ran the quick wash, the water escaped out of the hole and caused damage in our basement from the water leaking. Overall, dissatisfied with the installation contractors used by Best Buy. Not only did the first team install a defective unit and left, but the second team who was supposed to deliver a replacement unit never showed up, never called…nothing. It has been 5 weeks since we ordered the dishwasher and we still don’t have a working washer in our home.
