Installers need more training and must start unit prior leaving to ck for any leaks

Geek squad installed our dishwasher, fast installation!

My first installation was set to be 3 days after I bought the dishwasher. After the installers didn’t show up during the set time frame I began calling Best Buy. 2 1/2 hours later I finally spoke to somebody and they told me it had been rescheduled for the following week without notifying me. Apparently, the system automatically does this. The following week, after waiting 3 hours for delivery and installation, I received a phone call that they couldn’t install because the store didn’t have my dishwasher. I had to call the store to reschedule again! After many phone calls and visiting the store I was finally able to reschedule (for some reason they couldn’t reschedule over the phone because my order was ‘broken’. I had to cancel the order and repurchase; that’s why I had to visit the store). The day before the delivery I received another phone call saying they couldn’t deliver during the window I had requested 8am-12pm, they had to deliver during the next window 12pm-4pm. Ugh!! After rearranging my schedule, AGAIN... they finally showed up at 4pm. Then it took them 2 1/2 hours to install. The installers were really nice, but the entire experience before hand was a total mess and an unwelcome experience. I lost more money not working and waiting for dishwasher to be delivered and installed that I could have bought the best dishwasher money could buy. Extremely disappointed with this experience and highly doubt I would ever use this service again.

Terrible experience... I bought a dishwasher from Best Buy and wanted it installed. First, even though I booked an appointment to have the dishwasher delivered and installed (and called to confirm both were happening at the same time). They only delivered and couldn't install it. I had to call and I guess there was a mess up and the guy had to schedule the installation for 3 weeks later! The dishwasher just sat outside for 3 weeks. Then, when installation happened, the guys weren't too friendly. Fine, whatever. When they left, they didn't really test out and said, if any issues, call Best Buy. A week later, I have water everywhere. I looked and the pipe was barely attached!!! We had to reattached pipes but I'm not even sure it's the right pipes because it's really lose. Now, my undersink cabinet floor is soaked and I will likely need to get someone here to make sure it's installed correctly.

My dishwasher delivery was delayed by a month. Best Buy never informed me it was delayed. If I hadn't looked to doublecheck the delivery time I wouldn't have noticed to reschedule. I would have just been waiting wondering why the delivery wasn't showing up. When it finally was delivered, it was supposed to be between 8-12. It never came again. It finally showed up at 3:30. Delivery guy tells me it didn't fit into their schedule to do it earlier so they just adjusted it. Again, no call to adjust or let me know. I just sat around all day. Also, my wife had to leave work to get kids from school because I was stuck waiting for a delivery that should have been done hours earlier. Installation went fine and the installers were professional, but the lack of communication and timeliness will have me questioning if I use Best Buy for appliances and delivery and install again.
