This membership is a great deal. Tech support and other benefits are great.

Only used twice, person was rude, each time all they would say is all we can do is rest to factory settings,. I tried walk up option and they had no appointments set for two hours (according to board) and the person was rude over not having an appointment. nothing makes it clear what products they will work on.

The membership and the geek squad are the best solutions.

Disappointing experience so far both on the phone and in store regarding computer issues. I ended up fixing software issues myself. Phone support outside of the US only wanted to do remote access to my computer. Refused to tell me what to do to solve the problem. I am not a computer expert, but I managed to figure it out myself. If I could do that, the geek squad should have known what to do. For another issue regarding hardware, the store wouldn't do basic diagnostics without me leaving my computer there for 48 hours. I went home and called Dell and they diagnosed it in 5 minutes over the phone by running basic diagnostic tests. That's what I thought the geek squad would do.

I really like to become membership bestBuy Totaltech. It is very helpful for make an appointment or exchange products when I don't need that.
