Total tech plan is definitely worth getting, free warranties plus savings on top. Really can’t beat it

Great value and easy returns! Having this service really helped when my phone had a defect a couple years ago.

While I was always thanked for being a member when I called, the service was not always of value. On one occasion, a store employee informed me that Best Buy Geek Squad no longer made house calls to service equipment. This was right after I had an service call. Furthermore, the advice that I received via the phone was, at times, very inaccurate, verging on worthless. Several times I would be forwarded to another agent who knew virtually nothing, and might even give worthless advice. Ultimately I probably saved $50 after deducting for the membership. This barely offset the aggravation of calling. I certainly do not plan to renew,
