    Had many items that were fixed or replaced using this plan. Paid for itself just on the installation and hall away of a couple of appliances. If you buy more than 1 electronic device per year or need new appliances this is a great safety net. Just don't mistakenly cancel it, website / profile on membership has a glitch that can lead you to think you are double charged for the free antivirus that comes with. They cannot recover a cancelled account.

    This membership has made my experience with exchanges and technical support so much easier. I have a reassurance of knowing that my items have a backup plan for any technical issues, troubleshooting, returns, and exchanges when needed. The customer service is amazing and they are so helpful. I would give it 10 stars if I could. This is the best investment I’ve made in a protection plan thus far. I definitely recommend!

    It’s definitely well worth it to get the total tech just text then your return policy to 60 days but in my opinion, you should get the 179 package this way you can get security on all your items the only reason I say all is because I have not run into an item yet that Bestbuy has not covered

    I was hesitant at first to purchase this membership given that you can't pay month to month, but I have already taken advantage of it and can see myself continuing to renew! I saved several hundred dollars on a new monitor I purchased, which balanced out the cost of the membership, while also tacking on an additional 2 year warranty direct from best buy, so if I have an issue they will handle it directly vs me needing to hassle with the manufacturer.

    I loved that TotalTech membership covered all my purchases. My coffeemaker went berserk and stopped working. So glad I got the protection plan.

    I decided to have the membership since it covers just about any problem you have with your laptops, IPad and cell phone. It was worth it since my laptop was unusable and my IPAD was older and began having issues with it. Geek Squad scheduled me for the service and I decided to purchase a new ipad. They transferred my data and answered my questions. Great job. This service gives me the satisfaction of knowing I can rely on them for any repairs or questions.

    I dropped the total tech because they didn’t seem to have it together. I got several texts asking me to schedule or reschedule my delivery and install date when it was already scheduled in the beginning. Then on install day the fridge guy couldn’t get it to start cooling. He called a couple of people who couldn’t help him either. I looked on YouTube and found a person who had a video showing how to get the fridge out of demo mode and to start cooling. I showed it to the installer who used it to fix the issue. He was a very nice guy, but I basically did my own setup. On my dishwasher appliance install, the contractor was great. The sales person however didn’t know to tell me that there might be pipe differences when replacing a 15 Year old dishwasher with todays new installs. Fortunately the contractor was able to get more plumbing supplies locally and he actually came back after his next customer to fix it. If not, I would’ve had to reschedule for another month and have a plumber come out to change the connection at more expense. Plumbers are close to $300/hr. Almost a third of the dishwasher cost. After all of that, I didn’t think TotalTech was worth it. The other reason is that I couldn’t get a good explanation about the second year of coverage. Is there a cost involved for that year, or does the original charge include coverage for that year? The $80 call out charge seemed excessive also. So different than other appliance contracts. It seems to operate more like a Home maintenance contract that doesn’t cover the whole house.

      Total Tech membership provides free protection to qualifying products purchased while having the Total Tech membership for up to two years with deductibles if it is utilized for a covered repair. Items don't tend to come in demo mode, although some open box items may come with this on.     So far, Im thinking this is a decent purchase. Mainly because if you have issues you get VIP treatment. However, still having to pay a service fee after paying 200 doesnt feel like the 200 dollars is buying me anything other than maybe protection on the item I bought for a year, then have to pay another 200 to be covered for the full 2 years. It says it covers you on items you buy from other stores but I inquired about my router setup and didnt get very far with the geek squad representative

    We had amazing service. The geek squad came and installed our appliance with knowledge and kindness. They couldn’t fit our old one in the truck, so they came a different day to get rid of it for us. Highly recommended. Great service!

    To whom it may concern just wanted to say how how professional some of your team who came to in stall my new 75 inch this past April I really was impressed how they looked at my old set and looked were to set up there equipment and just went right to work with no hesitation very professional I was especially impressed when they had to drill and used there vacuum cleaner so they wouldn’t leave any type of mess. Thank you Geek Squad keep up the great service.

    My store has some solid Geek Squad techs so I was quite happy with my membership. It really came in handy and saved me money since I made several visits to solve some serious, ongoing laptop issues. It's always a gamble whether this type of "insurance" would be worth it -- in my particular case, it was for sure.

    I bought Sony TV 75 inch, They wall mounted on my home with in hour, it’s very quickly installation and very care support from total tech membership. Also bought washer and heater installed quickly and getting appointment very easily. Thanks for Total tech entire team. We love it…

    Total Tech is an excellent service offered by Best Buys great customer service. It came in quite handy when it provided excellent discount servicing for an electronic appliance that I did not purchase from Best Buy 12 years ago and a desktop PC I purchased 4 years ago. It saved me money even when the warranties on those items expired.

    If you plan on buying and installing a bunch of electronics at home or in your car, this is a great deal. Scheduling can be an issue at times but still can save a bunch of money.

    Overall I have had a good experience with using Totaltech membership. Other than occasionally having to wait to talk with someone online they have been able to help me with the issues I have had with my laptop.

    It is so rewarding to have this service membership. Regardless of my question, Best Buy's Totaltech has resolved all my technical needs. I am 76 and it is so nice to have your technicians respond quickly and professionally IN MY HOME! I will continue to renew my Totaltech Membership as I have done in the past. This service is invaluable!
