This membership is awesome, but I would only recommend it if you’re a frequent shopper at Best Buy. I made multiple purchases before renewing & my overall savings was more than the cost of the membership so it’s definitely worth it. Geek squad is super friendly when it comes to installation. Daniel & his partner installed our washer & dryer & he gave me his card when he left. Turns out I needed a small fix & he came right back out to fix it.

I really appreciate our Best Buy team taking time to explain the value of this membership. In the last month, I’ve made several separate purchases and added on a warranty for each which exceeded the total the cost for the TotalTech 2yr membership. The manager helped with my return and reapplied the repurchased warranties under this plan which saved a lot of money. Hopefully we wont need it, but if we do it’s great to know all our new products are covered under this plan

I initially purchased the total tech because I was going to buy multiple appliances at the same time and it would have made more sense. However, since a couple of the items were out of stock, I had to purchase them else where. I only ended up with one appliance and the regular protection made more sense.

I went inside best buy in Lancaster pa with a Xbox series s I didn't know how to program this lady looked at me and said let's figure this out. Help me free of charge. So freaking understanding and explained it to me in a way I can understand. She help me with a product that was not purchase there. I was so grateful that I had to buy the totaltech. protection and customer service like that I had to get some of that.

So far I haven’t had any issues with the membership. I definitely am glad I got it. And will make sure I keep it for the future

Comes in real handy for service calls. Cost could be alittle lower.

If you plan on buying and installing a bunch of electronics at home or in your car, this is a great deal. Scheduling can be an issue at times but still can save a bunch of money.

I bought Sony TV 75 inch, They wall mounted on my home with in hour, it’s very quickly installation and very care support from total tech membership. Also bought washer and heater installed quickly and getting appointment very easily. Thanks for Total tech entire team. We love it…

Over the past 12 months, I had about five issues requiring support from the Geek Squad. I was quickly connected to the right support person and they provided a quick resolution. I needed service from the local Geek Squad and took the laptop to the local store where I was quickly serviced by a knowledgeable professional.

I bought a 65 inch TV, Echo 10 and Ringer Doorbell and with membership installation and setup was done by the Geek Squad. They are respectful, quick and knowledgeable and helpful. So much ease and peace of mind having this membership. I look forward to buy all my electronics as from what I understand it is covered under this within the year. Get it and let the professionals do what they do best and give yourself peace of mind.

I now get called by my name when I call.....idk, maybe some low down discounts that still don't even fall by default unto other stores. I don't shop here enough to care either, but when you need a specific item for your PC about 7/10 they more than likely got it.

June 2024, my membership renews with the new terms. I'm admittedly a bit worried, because now I'm on the old terms and the coverage is great. Laptops running slow? Bring them in. The staff is knowledgeable AND nice. Great combo and rare nowadays. I'll renew my membership because of the great past service, but again - I wonder.

I just bought a new HP Envy laptop which led to me getting this total tech membership. I’m also looking to get a new desktop, a printer, and a TV. Having this membership is definitely worth it if you’re looking to invest and upgrade into several new devices at the same time.

Best buy identified problem but could not solve it

Hard to say so far whether it's worth it or not. I would have had to pay 150 dollars to have a TV delivered so it was worth spending the extra 49.99 for the setup and other perks offered. I wish you didn't have to pay for the second year of total tech to get the second year of warranty on the TV.

I've bought a ton of items from Best Buy in the past and paid for individual service plans for each item. Recently, I purchased a laptop and decided to get totaltech so I'd have support for all future items I purchase from Best Buy. AppleCare is even included, which was great because a couple weeks later I got a Macbook Air and I didn't have to purchase a separate plan from Apple! Super happy with my decision to join so far.

We appreciate the total tech membership. Our computers seem to have unique problems that we have come to rely on Best Buy and Geek Squad to repair and for helping us with working through frustrating technical problems. It costs a little, but we are glad to be able to get it.

A few details you need to pay attention to, but coverage usually pays for itself in the first repair. Does not cover computers bought at BestBuy prior to signing up. I was told that it would cover those so I’m not thrilled about that.

We had amazing service. The geek squad came and installed our appliance with knowledge and kindness. They couldn’t fit our old one in the truck, so they came a different day to get rid of it for us. Highly recommended. Great service!

I so appreciate the opportunity to have a group of people who will take the time to work with me to understand the vision I have. Then to create and install the technology needed to make my vision come to life. They listened, they suggested and cooperated with me all the way!
