My review is based on my interaction with Peter at the Geek Squad desk. He did a great job explaining/diagnosing the possible issues with my laptop, as well as providing guidance on two other issues. His level of service justifies the annual contract fee.

The membership was great for a new laptop I bought and switching the info on my old laptop to the new one. It did not help when I bought a Bushnell View on line and used a rewards certificate. I returned it because Bushnell came out with a new model for the same price. Best Buy refunded my money but not the rewards certificate. I was told when I returned it the reward would be added back to my account, but after a week and I called it was not. I was then told rewards are not reusable. I thought I the membership should have helped me with customer service.

Best Buy Total is really useful if you buy tech often. The free protection, tech support, and included installation services make it feel worth the price. As a college student, it’s convenient knowing I can get help with setups, repairs, or issues without extra fees. It saves time and money in the long run, especially if you rely on your devices for school and everyday use.

I've had this membership for a long time and I really do value the way that I can go to the Geek Squad with any problem I may have and it's resolved. The service I receive is outstanding and there've been time when I'd have been left in a situation wher I'd have spent a long long time without my computer if it had not been for the Geek Squad. In fact, there's been times when I'd have resorted to purchasing a new laptop because the problem was so far out of my ability to handle. Thanks Geek Squad!!

This membership has proven to be quite valuable. I have utilized the benefits through a needed replacement of an item, for technical questions to the Geek Squad and face to face technical assistance in the store. If you buy items from Best Buy it would be to your advantage to become a total member.

I love Best Buy! They have an awesome Geek Squad that cleaned out and protects my rather old computer. The store itself is upbeat and always has a great deal! I am a senior who is fairly well educated in modern equipment however there is always something new to learn. I like that although I have relocated to another state Best Buy is still the same. I have been a Best Buy fan for quite awhile!

I got this membership mainly for the Geek Squad Support as we have several computers that always seem to need help. However, I was surprised and pleased with all the other benefits that come with the membership. The techs are pleasant to work with, very knowledgeable and efficient. I am very pleased with it all!

If you are in your 70's like me, and don't have the slightest on what to do on your computer, I highly recommend buying the Geek Squad warranty. Why? because you don't have to go to the Best Buy with issues or questions. Just dial the Geek Squad and ask for Remote Help. They will take over your computer and take care of whatever issues or questions you might have. And you can call then 24/7 as many times as you need. without leaving your home. Also get the Web Root virus protection. The Geeks will help downloaded for you and you will have a peace of mind that your computer will be virus free

This is a great value purchase. It gives you member pricing and special deals. It also covers repairs on your purchases which can get very expensive if something happens. I highly recommend this membership for all of your electronic and household appliance purchases.

Done right and on time. My son needed to upgrade his computer and operating system for his school work and needed to make sure that everything on his Windows 10 computer was correctly moved over to Windows 11. You can try and do it yourself, but if you want to make sure it is done right, this is the way to go.

It seems to be a good value for me because the Geek Squad people I have dealt with are super nice, patient, and helpful. For someone who is not a techno-wizard, the Geek Squad is a no-brainer, go-to for help with computers, phones, etc. I recommend it.

The geek squad membership has been such a blessing to myself and my whole family. I wouldn’t have known what to do when my daughter’s laptop and her hard drive crashed and it was all replaced because of this membership.

I like how all the product I buy at BestBuy are automatically get covered by the Total Protection plan at checkout and its very convenient. My only drawback is its a little pricey for the subscription unless you have a lot of items and cannot extend warranty passed two years...but i trust BestBuy

I thoroughly believe this is one of the few.paid memberships that are worth it. Just the included 2 year warranties on everything i buy easily pays for the membership. Then there is the member only deals and discounts.
