I was hesitant to purchase this membership. I always think these types of things are a scam and waste of money. Boy was I wrong. This thing paid for its self with 2 orders. I purchased an oven and the installation, delivery, haul away and the gas line were all included because I decided to become a member. A huge saving. I also just purchased a new router because my current one provided by optimum is terrible. With this membership they are going to come and install it for me (I am not tech friendly) and hook up every single smart device in my home, and I have a lot! That alone would have cost me a ton. I also purchased a treadmill and the delivery and assembly is included with the membership as well. Another huge savings. Did I mention that I have the 2 year protection plan included on every purchase, I don’t even know how much extra that cost and that is included for free. I’m very happy and feel at ease knowing that I have their support 24/7 on anything in my home even if I didn’t purchase it at Best Buy. And things that I do buy at Best Buy, they will come anytime to do a service if I have any problems.

Renewed mine, This will be your new best friend if you like shopping in Best Buy! Helps a lot and good deal being a member.

If you are not tech savvy then go with the Geek Squad. Well worth the money and less stressful setting up.

Came in to my local Best Buy to purchase Geek Squad protection for my DJI Mini 3 Pro. The manager at the store explained the value of a TotalTech subscription over the individual protection on the drone. For $200 a year you get Geek Squad protection on nearly every purchase, as opposed to the $300 it would have cost just to protect the drone itself. The TotalTech subscription paid for itself when I purchased a remote start system for my car and Geek Squad installed it at no additional charge, as part of the perks of TotalTech. For reference; The installation on the remote starter would have been $199 had I not had TotalTech. Not to mention all of the other perks the subscription comes with. Overall, I believe TotalTech is an outstanding value for the money.

This membership is a real value. I highly recommend purchasing the total tech. It has great protection plan.

A huge disappointment and frustration. At first, the technician came to my apartment here in Manhattan and got my new iMac installed beautifully. But my numerous attempts at using their phone support resulted in a giant waste of time. Virtually all my calls went to Panama City and often the tech person’s English was barely coherent. Worse, they didn’t know what they were doing. So I canceled the service for my new iMac and went with AppleCare, where the tech support team is excellent. I do NOT recommend TotalTech for computers, but I use them in other products (my wide-screen TV’s, for example) and they are quite fine with those other products.

Could be better… I had a problem getting AOL loaded on my new computer so tried using total tech but they were not able to totally fix my issue…I do have AOL now but not in the format I had and liked before. They said it was a Microsoft issue and that was that!

A good value and useful. It save money. Long waits to get intake. Need more explanation about use after fixes.
