    It's pricey. Tech service was ok. I had most of my laptop up and running, he couldn't get my files off my old laptop, had yo take it to the store & lv it. Thought it was 24 mnths, but now I got an email changing it and what's covered after 12 mnths

    I was a little worried that this subscription would be another thing that the company doesn’t do everything they advertise but that’s not true at all. I got a MacBook Pro and decided that it wasn’t for me, so I went a month later to return it even though the policy is 14 days but with totaltech it’s 60. They let me return it with no problems! I’m glad I got the totaltech subscription!

    I knew we were going to need major appliances soon, so I purchased this membership in anticipation. Glad I did. Very feature rich. Although we didn't need to use it the first year, it is peace of mind. It paid for itself the second year though. Why wait until it's too late.

    My membership in the Geek Squad is beyond happiness. I feel secure knowing that my computer is safe, and that I am free from compromised hacking. The Geek Squad is phenominal; and is always available. This allows me to continue completing all of my necessary computer work.     Total tech has saved me 600 dollars in less than a month with the free install portion alone, this service makes me feel like I'm stealing from the company, I have had a deck, amp, sun, door speakers installed so far with another set of door speakers and 4 channel amp to come along with back up camera I will save over a 1000 dollars in under to months, and the extender's warranty upgrades for free makes this a total bargin

    What can I say? I am in love with my TotalTech. They are there for me anytime, they are so kind and friendly. I get my things done so much faster with their help. I get great pricing and everything i get is covered under warranty. they give me great information on products that I am interested in purchasing and make me feel comfortable with my purchase. I am so please with all my products from Best Buy.

    I Love having my membership handy for my clumsines

    I love the whole idea of this membership! At first i didn't think it made sense as i just needed a quick fix on my laptop but i thought hey i have kids so it might just come in handy. And it definitely did because i dropped my laptop and instead of paying for a whole new one i can simple make a quick appt and just bring it in to get looked at for no extra charge! Very convenient and stress free.

    I wish they had more American Techs. When you call after hours or during peak time you get 3rd party reps and sometimes they are hard to understand plus they repeat stuff so many times. I do love in home set ups but I heard that was going away

    I have to admit that I was not interested in the Totaltech membership at first. However, the salesman Tim explained that it not only provides an extended warranty but also free installation. I have had a refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave, car remote start, car stereo all installed for free. The Totaltech membership saved me $$$ ( that's the symbol for hundreds). Thanks Tim!

    First time I ever bought a membership and I was so pleasantly surprised! Significant savings on two appliances, installation fees waived, free delivery and protection plan for 2 years. Who knew?! Savings more than paid for membership fee.

    Initially, I was skeptical to bring my computer in for service. However, the Geek Squad did a fantastic job bringing my old computer back to life without losing my old apps (for which I can't find my original USB Drive or Discs in order to reinstall). I am very thankful for the top-notch service. And if need be, I won't hesitate to make use of the Totaltech service I signed up for. Certainly, it's a great value.

    No Comparison Between Totaltech and Best Buy Total

    The Totaltech program was outstanding. Unfortunately, the features that set the Totaltech program apart from other similar programs, free delivery, free installation, and free haul-away, are no longer included. Instead, they lowered the price by $20/year but took away the main features that prompted me to purchase the package.

    I highly recommend purchasing the Totaltech membership. It can come in handy when you least expect it to. I was happy to know that I had purchased when I was buying home items for my new home. It made me happy to know that everything I bought was guaranteed and could be replaced/repaired. BUY the membership, it helps to cover your purchases!

    The handling of my laptop file transfer from Surface Pro to new Lenovo was inadequate. No direction or support provided by drop off staff. However the at-home followup for set up was outstanding and well worth the cost of Total Tech

    I have purchased BBTT and its definitely worth the price. They are easy to communicate with and always have positive interactions. If you ever get open box items would definitely purxhase this incase something goes wrong with your item. I had purchased a gaming pc and the gpu was not working. I unfortunately had to lose my laptop for 2 weeks but they had it completely repaired at no extra cost.

    Initial use of the Geek Squad

    Note that scheduling an appointment is preferable to walk-in, since appointments have precedence over walk-ins. I had three initial contacts. 1) I walked in on a Monday to purchase the annual membership and discuss what I wanted done. One of the tasks was create a backup image of my laptop. I was told I'd be called when the laptop was ready and to just come on in then and to expect a call on Friday or before. 2) On Tuesday, I was pleasantly surprised to get the call to walk in. I had to wait a bit, but it was not unreasonable. The person behind the counter said it appeared the backup that was to have taken place, did not. So they began the backup while I was there. After at least 20 minutes I was told to make an appointment to pick it up the following day since the backup was taking so long. I made the appointment for the following day, Wednesday. 3) Upon arriving on time, I waited only 5 minutes and Cedric at the Evanston IL. store assisted me. He was knowledgeable, personable, helpful and patient. This was my first in-detail exposure to Geek personnel assistance. I highly recommend Cedric. He found that the backup that the person on Tuesday said did not occur, actually did occur and there were two backups. One was named a sequence of numbers that Cedric immediately recognized as related to my account number. The second had a name that was easily recognized as a backup. He removed the extraneous backup and helped me with other backups of multiple file types from my phone to the laptop and an external device. He further identified that the problem I had in achieving those backups were cable related. On the whole it was a very positive experience due to Cedric's astute assistance. Due to the oversight of the counter personnel in my second contact in not identifying an existence of a backup and the extra wait time, I'm giving a four star rating. Lacking that, I'd give a 5 star rating due to the initial sign-up with the Geek Squad and especially Cedric's help,
