However when I decided to update my media for family room, made the Totaltech purchase. It saved me a lot of money on the installation of my media items. The techs were friendly, helpful, cleaned up after themselves and answered all my questions. Only compliant I have is when I have used it online or over the phone to resolve a techinical issue on a piece of equipment, I have had a 2 hour wait. That is not an exaggeration. Wish I could say that was the exception to the rule, but a one hour wait isn't unusual either. Of course the recording says "higher than normal call volumn" to explain. So I would recommend purchasing this item, but make it knowing you have to have a lot of patience with customer service.

I purchased the totaltech membership and was told I would receive assistance with my new washer. When it malfunctioned the first time I used it, I called and no one could help me. First person hung up on me, second scheduled an appointment a week later (I had water sitting in the washer, clothes in there, I needed help urgently) then the appointment was canceled without anyone telling me. Best Buy wouldn’t take the washer back. It was a total disaster. At least I was able to cancel the membership (minus $70 for the washer delivery).
