    I purchased my Totaltech membership because I am NOT tech savy. I love the Geek Squad! They have helped me numerous times with technical issues with my laptop and cell phone. They are very patient and so knowledgeable. I also called and had them come to my home for a problem with my smart tv! I would highly recommend Totaltech membership to everyone!

    This is the best 'insurance' plan in the world. I am older and do have technology 'brain fog', and I love that I can go into any Best Buy, anywhere, and there will be a patient, kind, knowledgeable person to help me with my computer, even though it is usually operator error. They always explain in terms I can understand so I do not repeat the error. Geek Squad are my Technology Gurus!

    The manager, Sean, at the Webster, TX location convinced me to buy the membership. For every question or doubt, he communicated a benefit. I purchased it in May. Since then, I purchased a new vehicle and upgraded my car audio and security system. I saved hundreds on installation labor and protection plans. It has paid for itself within two months of the purchase.

    I really like the yearly membership but I do believe it is a bit expensive, not sure I can keep the membership next year. Since being on a fixed income I do find it a litter more then I can afford. It would be very helpful if you would offer a Senior discount.

    It really is one of the best purchases I have been able to make every product to protected state and has been replaced when required thanks to the advisor who recommends buying it thanks.

    I love buying big appliances at Best Buy beacuse the delivery and installation service is always the best. The guys unwrap the item infront of me so I know is 100% new and free of scratches. They are very careful when bringing in the item and knowledgable when they install it. Havent had any issues with any purchase so far Is a peace of mind having then do it.

    I like the membership because I have someone to turn to when my things do not work. The price is well worth it. I did not appreciate making an appointment but 2 people (not scheduled) went before me.

    These total tech people are awesome!. I have not met 1 person that didn't help me whether coming to the house or when at the store. I just wish the store would let them make their own appts. When I call the 800 #'s, I get someone from out of the country. I've had to make a 2nd and 4rd appt because they set it and the tech are too busy to come out that day. I hope Corp. Best Buy can figure something out.

    Always extremely helpful. Brought my computer in with a new battery in need. Replaced for $0 (I had the battery, but they did all the work)

    If you dont shop on the regular for electronics games or appliances be small or big then i don’t recommend it. This covers all new tech and appliances under warranty for the entirety of the yr. They have several great discounts as well.

    I have had Geek Squad support previously and was worthwhile -- many problems difficult and time consuming to resolve without assistance with new high tech items. Especially recommend if you purchase multiple items or high cost items.

    I hope this "membership" will be a valuable purchase. I am not sure as to what services are included as I was initially told that any items I own would be covered and I am not sure that is a true statement; I called to have an item I did purchase from Best Buy several months but was unable to install it myself would be covered. The agent did install it for me but pointed out it really was not covered since it had been purchased some months before.

    If you are like me and buy alot of stuff from Best buy, it a no brainier. You get alot of discounts and extras like, 60 return policy for all items. They also have 2 years of warranty for all items you buy. ( as long as you stay a member) that is the thing I don't like is you have to stay a member to continue the warranty. But I always go to Best buy so that's why love it so much.

    I am not sure if the Geek Squad has a real revalue to me. I was a little disappointed with the service. I left my Laptop for repair they could not fix it; not a problem with that. The problem was my laptop was not returned the way I gave it to them. It was missing parts. I asked about it, and they could not find the details and offered no resolution. On the other hand, I called the geek squad, and the young lady did a great job helping me with my problem. Very professional and knowledgeable. I am still determining if this is worth keeping. Being a member has other great values, that are very beneficial to the consumer. So, if you like discounts, free delivery and etc then join.

    I wish I could get my money back

    I bought this exclusively to facilitate car audio installation, which is largely covered by this membership. Knowing ahead of time that I would pay a premium for the products (which need to be purchased from best buy), I was content believing that I may break even with the installation costs (given the cost of the membership) and have the peace of mind of knowing that the labor was under warranty. It's not worth it, mostly do to the headache of trying to realize the benefit of the warranty (see below), but also scheduling service in the first place. First of all, the claim that there are experts waiting to assist you is a lie, at least when it comes to car audio. They cannot and will not help you with anything related to audio installation, unless your objective is to be forwarded to someone else. The someone else will be the installers at a particular store, i.e. the people actually performing the installations, which is to say that they are infrequently in a position to answer the phone (or choose not to), let alone provide adequate customer service if they do. As a result, count on being forwarded to a line that will not be answered and will seldom allow you to leave a message. This has been my experience when asking questions related to my vehicle or the installation/warranty process, or more recently addressing a recently installed and now defective product. My most recent attempt to resolve the defective product issue, after successfully leaving a message but receiving no call back for days, predictably led to my being forwarded to the installation bay, only to be informed (by the customer service associate, not the installer) that the installation bay was not taking calls today. You read that correctly, the only person that is in a position to even begin addressing the issue for this TotalTech member was not taking calls. The only alternatives provided were to drive to the store and hope to talk to someone, or try another store - unbelievable. At this point, I'll have to drive to the store and hopefully get to speak to someone helpful. If I'm very lucky, they'll triage the issue on the spot. More than likely, I'll have to set up an appointment and make another trip to the store. Either way, it's likely that they'll diagnose a defective product, for which they'll have to order a replacement, and I'll get to come back again. I wish I could get my money back.

    This plan makes the most sense if you do all of your electronics shopping at best buy. I used to be like that, but now shop for the best deal. If this is you or makes a lot of sense!

    This experience was a little rough. Arranging purchase, home delivery, and set proved to be more than the system could handle. I was on the phone for at least 3 or 4 hours. made calls to 3 countries, and even though EVERYONE was courteous, happy, and understandable the deal just could not be made. At last we learned the hang up was no one could install the compute web can or computer speaker. Why not say so up front? We will make a new deal. Finally the stuff was deliver and mostly set up but this took several reschedules on Best Buys part. I remain a best Buy customer primarily this is how I access Geek Squad and I love their warranty programs.
