    Good for the security/peace-of-mind on your products. The hotline is also very friendly and helpful. I would not recommend this, and I cannot stress enough, I would not recommend this product for the average day-to-day consumer. This is only for the tech gurus that purchase new tech often. This product can also help you get the new consoles.

    Well... I have been playing for one week now. I tried several games like Godfall (i would rate 4/10), Spider-Man Remastered (10/10 so far), Astro Bots (I'm an playstation fan for over 25 year now - so... 10/10!), God of War PS+ collection (10/10 - even it's only 30fps) and many other games I owned before: CoD Warzone, Battlefield 5, Rainbow Six Siege, No Mans Sky, Destiny 2, Madden NFL, GTA online. All in all I'm very impressed by the smoothness of the PS5 UI. Everything works more fluently and faster. It's very easy and fast to create and join parties! And I really love the new controller as it is a bit bigger, fitting perfect in my hands. I really love the adaptive triggers, as they for example simulates the tension of spider-mans webs when web-swinging through new york! That's awesome!

    Was initially very skeptical of yet another rewards type program, especially given the price. However my first experience using its service was great. We purchased a 65” TV… TV arrived at the house as schedule… Opened the TV over the weekend and discovered that the power cord, stand screws, owners manual, and the remote control to the TV were all missing! It’s 9:30 PM… I’m not in a good mood… Expected to call customer service only to find it closed. Lo and behold…being a total tech member meant that I had 24/7 concierge service!!! I was able to quickly process my exchange over the phone within 10 minutes and arrange for a replacement TV to be delivered! Definitely made me a satisfied customer!

    The service is good but it’s too expensive so I had to cancel it not right that these corporate companies want to overcharge for these type of services not cool one star rating for the overcharge give better pricing and I’ll give a better review and it’s not like your really going to give me a 400 dollar gift card for my opinion anyways I would recommend if it where more affordable for people in general

    They used to offer a lot more discounted prices on products than they do now. That was the biggest benefit. I wont be buying again.

    This membership has more than paid for itself in the first two months of having it. I was able to get laptop help both in store and by phone. It covered the free delivery of a new range and range hood. The old range and hood were removed and hauled away at no charge. Installation for the new range was free. The hood was considered a second installation and they were charging me more than half of the cost for the new hood. After several calls to a supervisor the charge was reduced to $100 which I thought was reasonable although I had originally been told all installation was free with the membership. Turns out even their own employees in several stores and on the phone didn’t know what is free and when there is an additional charge.

    Dont waste your money on total tech.shop elsewhere

    This membership is not worth it . Help desk people take a long time to setup appointment , a few days ago I was with geek squad for one hour located in another country,I hanged up . When I cancel my membershipwith total tech, I was not told that the previously purchased items that I had purchased while I had total tech, will end up losing their extended time, For any type of problems with the device. I had a GoPro problem a few times, so every time I would send a GoPro back for heating issues. It would take a few weeks before I would get my item back, and they will claim they did not find any issues with it, after a few weeks back, I would send item back again and then they would start finding issues with the device. If you have total tech membership, there should be no questions asked, and the item should be replaced. Not worth getting this best buy service!

      Total Tech members do get a protection plan for qualifying items that can cover replacement or in many cases repairs of items that may not be working correctly with a possible deductible. These plans are available while you have the Total Tech membership for up to two years for free.     Totaltech corrupted by desktop

    I could not get a network share setup for my new Samsung notebook and existing desktop, so I contacted Totaltech. The intent was to transfer all my data files, pictures, videos, and music from my desktop to my notebook. The Totaltech agent tried using Microsoft OneDrive on both systems to make the transfer of over 720GB. In the process, she corrupted the "desktop" folder on my desktop computer rendering it useless, and was unsuccessful in transferring the pictures, videos, and data. She did transfer the music files. I was able to complete the task on my own by removing the drive from the desktop and then connecting it to my SATA to USB adapter. Hindsight says this is what I should have done instead of relying on Totaltech. All I really needed was assistance in setting up a shared drive in the desktop that was accessible by the laptop.

    Hi. First off I want to say Thanks to Best Buy comp/phone techs. A-1 service and courtesy. Next, a shout out to Geek Squad for constantly going the extra mile for our family. Totaltech was the Best idea we've had all year. We've saved So much in hands-on immediate, and scheduled one on one support, Buy it if you plan to buy here. We needed phones, screen protectors and cases. Didn't need to pay for replacement of screenprotectors. We needed backup, diagnostics and potentially repair on a 2yr old laptop. Didn't pay a cent. COVERED including free total OS replacement AND got it back in DAYS. WORTH IT. Thanks guys. Turner family

    Didn’t know I was paying for 2 memberships Best Buy didn’t even offer a return on one of them. I called them 3 times to tell them I got charged twice and to tel them to merge both accounts and change my name on my account. They didn’t even do that. If you buy a lot from Best Buy membership is worth it . I don’t know if 200 dollars is good for 1 or 2 items.

    The only benefit I received was the tv mounting. They don’t want to fix anything else. You'll be told it's not included or they don't service the models of appliances or equipment that you have. I canceled it because it's a waste of money.

    Two years ago, I unexpectedly lost my darling husband of 50+ years. Since he was the tech person in my world, I've been SO lost without his expertise. A few other places I've visited, weren't interested in helping me unless I was making a large purchase. Best Buy associates are very knowledgeable--and don't look down their noses at me when I have questions. The other stores are out of luck, as I'm now bringing ALL of my business & several new purchases just to Start. They sell peace of mind, & that's HUGE in my book. I know I don't have to worry in the year ahead, because there will always be someone to help me-and do it with a smile. I was surprised at all the discounts that also come along with this. Terrific policy. Imagine, a store you can trust to care!!

    POOR customer service ALL around on this Total Tech package. No installation at all - let alone free installation. Hope anyone that buys this package gets MUCH Better help/assistance than we got. We even got charged for 2 Total Tech packages in '22 with one memberships being finally refunded to me by an instore employee 5-7 months after i got charged for 2 in one year. BB should be embarrassed for the lack of customer service that they offer.
