    I got totaltech to help give me a change in getting a ps5. Bestbuy finally did a release fr ps5 just for the totaltech mmbrs recently and I was able to get one. The release was already 20 mins after whn I found out about it but i didn't have any probs getting a ps5. There was no wait or anything. I just put it in my shopping cart and checked out without any trouble and no long waits or being in a que or anything. Before that I used totaltech to get a new 4k tv and i did save a little bit wth that--$207 saved and the totaltech mmbrshp is $200. I wish totaltech was available whn I was buying new appliances fr my new kitchen this year but it wasn't out yet. It might have saved me more. So far it's paid for it's self.

    I've only had TT for a few months but it has already paid for itself in hardware installation fees and device protection plans. Also there are additional sale prices for TT members beyond the normal sale items, which allowed me to buy something on sale sooner than expected. Apparently Best Buy has also been offering some limited availability items to TT members before selling to the general public, which is not a reason to join but isn't unwelcome as an extra perk.

    Having this membership lets me no worry about delivery and installation fees. Also, they come with 24 month protection plan (with membership though, so if you don't have it for another year, you won't have the protection). I do suggest this membership to people who plan to purchase large appliances in the near future, or plan to buy lots of technology. The total teach assistance team, is pretty efficient as well.

    I did love the benefits it originally provided, but they made changes where they reduced benefits and price, which made me not renew my membership as it wasn’t any longer worth it for me. When I first purchased it was when I bought appliances and came handy for delivery and install. I had an issue later down the line where the dishwasher wasn’t bolted down properly, and someone came right out to fix it the next day or so. We used it for other things, but the change of benefits made it no longer worth it.

    This was a great investment. I was hesitant at first about the $199 fee, but since I've purchased the agreement I've had several computer laptops in for one reason or another and it would have been cost prohibited to have done otherwise singularly. This definitely was worth it and more bang for the buck. The Best Buy Geek Squad staff at Norterra were top notch, friendly, explained everything well. Didn't take a long time to get each laptop back and it was well worth the wait. Good value. One just never knows when a computer, laptop or similar device will develop issues. Didn't matter where I purchased the devices either.

    Not impressed pricey especially if you are not purchasing from BestBuy constantly. The protection part is nice. The fact that they add taxes, don't report to credit bureaus and you have to pay it all at once. Also in order to buy high in demand items that are getting sold out you must purchase the total tech and in order to have accessibility to the items before non total tech members.

     I bought an LG 70 inch Tv paid for Best Buy to send a Total tech guys to install  the new TV and removing the other TV from the bedroom they damaged it on December 19,2022 it’s January 7,2023 and Best Buy is not taking responsibility for the damage they’re send me to the third-party company that they hired that install my TV so therefore I wouldn’t recommend you getting the totaltech

    I am pleased with Totaltech, but it would be better if it was easier to contact my local Bestbuy Geek Squad / Totaltech staff. Or, if there was a way to schedule in home service or for a call back from my local Bestbuy.

    This membership is somewhat a good value. Total tech exclusives are a plus for example exclusive access to next gen consoles but some items that are not tech require this membership to be able to purchase them. At least you have the piece of mind that all your future purchases will have protection already added onto it at no additional cost. If this membership was just a little bit cheaper it would be of great value and I can see more people purchasing it.

    This is a good value. I took my laptop to them when I couldn't figure out why the RAM I installed seemed to have fried the laptop. Without an appointment, they opened it up, looked at it and could tell right away that the RAM was just the wrong MHz (you should always have matching MHz on your RAM). They took out the extra RAM I installed, put the back casing on again, started it up and everything was fine. Afterwards, they wrote down the correct information I need to purchase the right RAM. That way I could still buy it off the internet cheaply, but make sure I get what works. And I did just that and now my laptop I got from best Best Buy with Totaltech is even faster!

    total tech extended protection plan challenges

    The associate that helped me was very good. What is not so good is the system that will not allow a total tech member to add the extended protection plan when ordering online. This is the third time I've made a major purchase of the past few years and had a problem with the protection plan and had to make a trip into the store to resolve. I do not blame the associates in the store for this at all. The corporate tech team that supports the system used by both customers and associates needs to fix this. Besides that I do value the total tech membership and have used its benefits on several occasions.

    Worthless if you purchase a high-end appliance

    Bought a brand new SubZero fridge two weeks ago and in that time it has thrown two failures codes. Because Best Buy only sells this brand through their Pacific Sales department, their TotalTech team can't seem to support us or even seem to locate the purchase. So after being transferred through multiple departments each time, they eventually send us over to Pacific Sales, who of course sends us back to TotalTech because that's what we paid the extra for. We also contacted the manufacturer SubZero, who told us during the first error code episode that it could be totally normal to occur once right after installation and walked us through a reset of the appliance... but told us if it occurs again then there is a major issue with the appliance. So here we are, two weeks into owning a fridge that cost as much as a car with no assistance from Best Buy at all. If you are purchasing this to accompany a higher end appliance that is being purchased through one of their subsidiaries - just don't. This has been an awful experience that I will forever share to everyone I can.

    Purchasing this service was just what I needed: Expert installation, and on-site (home) warranty service if I need. Beware of other "Square" plans to claim to provide excellent service - all too many times have I had people tell me that the "Square" service did not pay, did not service, or to get out of correcting the problem they simply refund the purchase price. As Judge Judy would tell you: read the fine print. "Square" has built in so many ways they can safely not service your product. This does NOT happen with totaltech. A LOCAL tech will assist you with your issue... Well worth the price for piece of mind.

    Total Tech is totally awesome. I had previously always paid for AppleCare and/or Assurion, but I never lose my devices. They break. That’s where Total Tech reigns supreme. From something not working, to something breaking, to just having “how do I do X on this device” issues, Best Buy is unequivocally there for you without making you feel like a doofus (no offense Apple Geniuses, but Genius + making someone feel like a doofus isn’t so ingenius). AND this costs a whole lot less, covering all that your buy at Best Buy. I highly recommend Total Tech is you a loyal Best Buy customer like I am.
