So glad we opted for this membership! Usually, I pass up the options to purchase these types of memberships, but it covers any and all products that we purchase under my number. Also, I have 60 days to return a product if it doesn't meet my expectations and with kids and pets in the house, it is wise to cover your assets!

The membership is nice, even to employees. I work for BestBuy, and it helps as I get the lowest pricing and have help nearby. I am a college student and a tech geek, so it’s applicable to me when I can’t understand issues. In addition, my family uses it for their own reasons. An example is my tech-inept dad gets help. I do not completely enjoy the customer service as it feels scripted, but there is value in it.

The initial set up went well although it took two days and the tech had to come back. He gave me his card and told him to call direct with any questions because we kind of ran out of time while he was showing me the features. Then, he disappeared into thin are. I have called and left two voice messages and sent 2 texts with attachments and questions and he has never responded. Very strange since he was fabulous for the two setup days. Either he is no longer with Geek squad or really let me down big time as I had an emergency issue with a set up issue after he left my house.

I find value in the membership from specific savings to the Apple Care+ included for 24 months.

My local Best Buy has been a huge help from setting up new purchases, to making the best tech decisions that are right for my needs! I highly recommend BEST BUY! I will continue to be a life long customer. Geek squad protection is also very helpful. I found they could walk me through many issues right from my own home over the phone or through screen sharing on my new MAC OS.

Membership gives you peace of mind used it a few times they were great at a good price paid for itself.

ssI haver in a very short time found value. i bought a computer a HP desk top. iT WAS PLAGUED WITH MICROSOFT STUPIDITY! SEEMS THAT MCROSOFT HAS DECIDED THAT WILL PUT IN A SAFE MODE TO STOP US FROM ONLY SOFTWART OR WHOM SOME WON HAD GIVEN MICROSOFT TRIBUTE TO SAY ITIS OK. EVEN THE SOFTWARE FROM BEST BUY WOULD NOT LOAD. I returned the co9mnputer after spending several hours fooling with it, to discover the "safe mode" They were able to disable it so i could load software, by the way NOT even putting the computer in developer mode would by pass this crap. took almost a hour there to deal with this, but they did it with a simile.

This membership is the best and most valuable deal that Best Buy offers for coverage of ALL the items purchased from Best Buy. I renew it every year. GREAT VALUE!! The unlimited Geek Squad support is great!
