    Valuable Membership for Warranty

    Chose the membership after comparing the other warranty options. Value seemed better than the other options. Although I have not used it at this time, it does provide me some reassurance that if anything goes wrong with my appliance, it will be replaced.

    It was worth the purchase price considering that I needed help switching data from one computer to the new one and had issues setting the new computer up once I got home. I was able to access help remotely through Greek Squad.

    This membership is great. The membership gives me peace if mind whenever I head into Best Buy to make a purchase, I know I am going to receive the best value on everything I buy. My Best Buy even helped keep the cost down when I had my computer fixed. Thank you Best Buy!!

    Worth every penny. Could not solve an issue that brought my old laptop to a halt. All my hardrive memory was used up but could not figure what was causing that. It forced me to buy thiss new laptop and the rep recommending buying the Total Membership. Well I bought it in and within 10 min the Geek Squard found the issue and restored 100 gig of memory. I can use my old laptop now.

    I love the Apple Care that the membership comes with and the discounts are super helpful! I definitely recommend it, especially if you’re upgrading tech relatively frequently!

    This is actually a very good service, nice to know that everything I buy here is covered. I wish it wasn’t capped at two years, I had to buy extended apple care for my Macboom Air BUT it’s lasted 5 years.

    Signed up for this when I bought a new computer which was not on sale at the time. Don’t usually buy add-ons like this but the salesman said if the price of the computer dropped within 60 days, this membership would give me the sale price. Sure enough the next month this model went on sale and I saved $300.

    If you shop at best buy very often or if you have a business where most of your expenses go on electronics, i definitely recommend this membership!! Overall very worth it and good deals all year round!

    Worth it if a normal Best Buy shopper

    This is pretty good if you buy a lot of electronics since it covers all your purchases, from movies, video game accessories and major electronics. Read the fine print and understand the program before buying. Pros: You get coverage for just about all your purchases. Just need to pay a fee if you need to return an item to get a replacement. Similar to warranty where you get the item you returned that is damaged or malfunctioned for a brand new replacement. But then once you get it, you have to pay for another warranty plan. Here you just pay a fee for the return and since you have the total plan, its covered automatically, just $180 a year. 2. you get special prices for being a TOTAL member, just got these headphones that are 200 for 140 as a TOTAL member, so a savings of 60. They do that for many items. A samsung TV I was looking at was 2500 on sale from 3800, and for 2 days had a TOTAL member sale for 2000. saving an extra 500 from the regular sale price, so you have chances to save depending on what your looking for. Cons: not really a con, but you need to pay the 180 each year to keep it on and active. Sounds like your items stay protected as long as you have the plan, but it can't be stopped and then renewed later and keep protection from items before plan expired and got renewed.

    I love the peace of mind knowing that Best Buy offers such a great deal to protect anything I buy! And when you need help, getting support is always easy and things get fixed quickly!

    Rescued my computer

    Saved my laptop from being a piece of scrap that needed to be replaced. They covered a faulty power input and battery and rescued my computer. I even was able to get a replacement computer while it was getting repaired and received all of my money back when I returned it.

    This membership saved us at least $40 dollars already this year. A Geek Squad staff member helped us set up our new computer and transfer our old files from the old computer to the brand new one. This was a savings of $40 for the entire process. If we have any more questions or need assistance, we know where to go now!

    Our Best Buy membership is a real value. Member prices, plus unlimited Geek Squad support are excellent. Also we love the peace of mind of getting protection plan on our puschases as well.

    My initial experience with Total Care was not positive. I had an in-store meeting scheduled. When I showed up, I had to wait to finally talk to someone. Apparently, everyone was busy. So much for scheduled appts. The person I finally got to speak with was not from the Geek Squad/Total Care. He was a kid filling in from another dept and really had no business being there. He couldn't even answer the first question I had. Pressing a little further his only suggestion was to bring my PC into the store for support. It was a wasted trip to the store for a couple minutes of nothing. I'm willing to give Total Care another try. If my next encounter with Total Care is not productive I will cancel.
