    As you can see. I've been a total member for a while and this means I have multiple ways to leave a poor review about what's happened with the new, broken TV you sold me and won't fix or exchange. What a headache.

    Originally got this to buy a PS5. Didn’t get the PS5 they were sold out and there had been a deal for total tech members. I was going to cancel it but kept it. Glad I did. I bought so much stuff for Christmas and it’s all covered now. Even had to use it once already. Bought a good glass for an iPhone and it dropped and the glass shattered. Brought it back and they gave me a new one no questions asked

    Absolute trash. You pay for premium customer service and then receive the worst customer service of your life. I bought a tv and used their appointment scheduling system for the delivery and install. Then receive a call on the day of the installation that they don’t even have the tv. They claim they will have it and be able to deliver it the next Tuesday. No written confirmation that it won’t be delivered or that it has been rescheduled. The online system says I need to reschedule delivery, but won’t let me reschedule or even cancel. I then spend the next week calling their customer service lines and being told multiple times that they are elevating it and that I should expect a call within 24 hours and never receiving any calls or emails. I finally speak to someone who is able to cancel and refund me. I then explain that this is the worst experience I have ever had with a purchase like this and that there should be some kind of compensation as I paid for their premium customer service membership and was told that the only thing they can do is give me a gift card upon completion of an order with them because they have a strict policy. So basically, when you buy something from them and use their system to schedule an appointment from what they say are the times they can deliver they may not even have what you bought and don’t even follow up about it but hold your money and the only compensation they offer for this horrendous business model is to give you a gift card to spend more money with them and they will only give you that if you reorder with them first. They will never receive my business again. Absolutely trash company.

    was on the phone and they logged in to my new laptop on 2 separate occasions - each over an hour and neither could accomplish a simple task of enabling me to connect and scan to my printer/scanner. Instead they messed stuff up I had to then fix myself and I'm fairly good at this stuff - have been setting up my own networks, equipment etc for years but with a mac. Last totaltech guy said i had to make an in-person appointment and I was given a 12-hour window - anyway - grandson fixed in about 10 minutes - I'm good to go - would NOT recommend this waste of money!

    Great Deal, not the same as Geek Squad

    This product does not offer the same 2 week grace period to purchase Geek Squad. This is a great deal as opposed to Apple Care because it covers every product purchased AFTER TotalTech is purchased. Apple Care has to be purchased separately for each individual Apple product. Also, Best Buy takes two weeks to complete accidental damage, Apple Care is done in store while you wait

    Recently, I moved into my new home in which the Total Tech Team installed four wall-mounted TV's, two with sound bars - one was mounted onto a brick fireplace. These guys worked their butts off over a period of 3+ hrs. During the install process I was afforded the opportunity to make several changes which they politely and promptly completed. Simply put, this membership saved me a lot of work and money! Thanks for your service James.

    Actually, it is useless, installation does not include removing an old appliance, and it costs me additional 800+ dollars to remove and install a new hood, which can be easily done by a local kitchen remodeling company. If you purchase the membership and rely on their installation service, think about if you can remove old ones on your own first, and the third parties are not all professional. A 24-month extension warranty is not valuable to most people who use credit cards to make a purchase.

    I dislike that this is actually for sale. I bought it after many months of debate for 1 year. I feel it is to pricy for what you get. Also, if I discontinue it all of my protection plans will no longer exist. What a scam in my opinion.

    This membership has some good value if you shop here frequently. You can save some good money on products and the automatic protection on your electronics like Apple care and the 2 year protection plan. It also gives access to the high demand items. It is expensive, just have to figure out if you would get your money worth.

    I recently got Totaltech and also had a previous Best Buy support plan that finally lapsed a few years ago. I've used these plans mainly for my OLED TV, CD player, Blue Sound, receiver, Blu Ray, home speaker system, etc. I've already had the geeks out three times in 2022, to fix problems that have slowly accumulated over the last few years. Both now and with the previous plan, the geeks have been prompt, pleasant, helpful and efficient. Best Buy is turning into my go-to supplier

    This membership is worth every Penny! $199 per year membership but just on my Black Friday purchases and installation it paid itself off ten times over! Free TV mounting Free Speaker Installation Free Universal remote programming Free A/V Receiver connect Literally saved me over $1000 by being a total tech member.

    Big screen TV went out, indications pointed towards power supply. Went with the Totaltech membership to come out to diagnose the issue before we bought new one. It was the power supply, with the age of the TV and cost of repair there was not guarantee that something else would go out. Bought a new TV, the membership covered the shipping/installation of the new TV, was well worth it and the associated perks for the year.

    Had an appointment with Geek Squad in Baldwin. Jalen my Geek Squad Rep was informative, helpful, and able to fix my power button within 15 minutes. He went above and beyond what I had expected. The day before I had an appointment with the Bay Shore Geek Squad, and they did not help. If I am ever in need of the Geek Squad, I will be traveling to the Baldwin Best Buy even though it is well out of my way. Jalen, thank you!

    Picture this: You just found out best buy stopped their member point rewards system. Wow, the only thing that keeps me from shopping else where, gone. Ok well I guess I have no need for this expensive total tech membership. I decided I'll probably shop elsewhere going forward so I don't need it any more. Well surprise surprise, all of those 24 month warranties, they are cancelled with it too. That's pretty much the only reason most of us buy it... any ways. Unless you are happy getting no rewards with your purchases and content with being locked into continuing your total tech membership so you can keep your already purchased "Benefits", don't waste your money.

    I noticed a notification on the app to log-in to purchase a playstation 5 today from exclusive membership. I've had my heart broken so many times over the past 2 years, and have practically given up. When I was processing my store giftcards to purchase, i sure that I would lose my spot(like always) to bots. Sure enough, my payment was processed, and now I am a proud owner of a Playstation 5 at regular retail value.

    The cost of the Totaltech membership has already paid for itself. I purchased a new washer and dryer and the cost of the Totaltech membership was less than the installation and haul away so I was obliged. I have since purchased 4 new speakers and a new audio deck for my car. The Totaltech membership afforded me free installation which I took full advantage of. It's only been a month and I must say that this might be my best purchase of 2022.

    Bought this to get access to limited deals. Personally think it has great value given how much I spend at Best Buy. However, I think the support needs substantial improvement as chat for total tech is often over an hour in wait time. It's ridiculous.

    What I dislike most about this service is tgat i recieved terrible service. I purchased a dishwaher on 2/13/23. It was scheduled to be installed 2 days later. The tech. Arived to install the applience without the proper supplies. I never recieved a call from Best Buy for reinstallation. I called every two days thereafter only to talk to a different person each time. Each person told me the same story that they were personally seeing to ot that my appliance would be delivered and set up. Not once did i recieve a call. I always had to call. Finally after three weeks and numerous calls the appliance was finally installed yesterday. This was by far the worse customer service I have ever experienced.
