Worth every penny!

The technicians are patient and take their time when we have a computer problem. When it was time for a new laptop, we asked one of the technicians for advice (Dillon, in Glen Burnie, Maryland deserves a raise!) and have been really happy with the new laptop.

Expensive membership
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The price of this is expensive and I almost returned it but it turns out I was able to score an Xbox and 30 series GPUs with this subscription so I would have to say it’s worth it if you are trying to get those things or if you aren’t very tech savvy some of the other perks could be of use to you.

Total tech needs to hold delivery people accounta.

Both provided pertinent information and Extremely wonderful Customer Service taking the time to explain much and get the best pricing on my recent purchases. I hope every Customer Servixe experience is lile thos for everything in the future as these 2 Gentlemen set the Bar high for all Managers and Store Associates. My hat of to them both.

These people have provided me with incredible warranties, and every time I have to buy something electronic I look it up at Best Buy because losing something expensive is... well expensive. 200 a year pays for itself when you buy many things over the year. -I would recommend this to anyone who makes many purchases over the year OR if the price is lower than your very very expensive purchase that you want a warranty on.

Valued Added Services

Then my laptop went on the fritz and my phone stopped working. I bit the bullet and purchased the membership. The phone was fixed while I was waiting and the laptop took a lot longer but they took their time and got it right. Recommended.

They added a stipulation for the 24 mo protection

The one product (screen protector) I was told I could get replaced free never showed up in my purchase history so I couldnt actually get it replaced if I went in. Otherwise I kept it for my phone. At the time there was no stipulation that for the full two years you needed to stay an active member to get protection, so I paid $200 for that. Cancelled this year and now I lose out on the next 12 months of coverage because no way im shelling out another $200. Don't bother with this if you're careful.

Plan on going to the store since phone contact is impossible. Wish someone had followed up. I like that Totaltech is at any store and I can save money on many items.

Total Tech Membership Experience

Experienced hardware failure 3 months after purchasing a pre built pc, the 3080 GPU malfunctioned. Geek squad helped me select a 3090 Ti that was compatible with my motherboard and installed it at no labor cost. They even delivered on the customer service aspect, very friendly Agent’s specifically Isaiah. He took a crumby experience and fixed. Thank you!

Great service by the GEEK Squad.

They came through for us by restoring an expensive laptop whose solid state memory card had failed losing the entire Windows 10 operating system. Unfortunately the GEEK Squad could not resurrect the data on the memory card. The 2 GEEK folks we interacted with were knowledgeable and friendly and had lots of time and patience for our questions.

I had a crew of different employees from Geek Squad To Manual Installers of Hanging TVs To Tech Setting Up Our Smart Home. Did I Mention For An Entire Week Time For Dedicated Professional Installation. If you have tech concerns and/or don’t want the fight with your wife on if the TV is level, this is the “Best Buy”, Pun Intended, you can make!

Time will tell whether the annual cost turns out to be worth it in the longer run. That's why I only gave 4 instead of 5 stars at this stage.

An incredible value

We purchased TotalTech for a dishwasher and fridge installation, as it was cheaper to go that route than doing individual purchases. I am very glad we did. Foreign Aid is More Like It

It's pathetically slow, heavy-handed ROBOTIC ANSWERING MACHINE NONSENSE, longer than reasonable time delays, and nearly always with someone who has an incredibly strong foreign accent. Worse still, some reps even make a bad situation worse, and lack such mind-busting common understandings as "three strikes and you're out." Thanks... but no thanks!

Disappinted- it is an unprepared delivery company
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Techs could not install our dishwasher which had an issue with it that they were aware of, but they arrived with no work around. It was a Bosch and needs a special junction box to go with it, which they claimed would make our dishwasher unleveled and so therefore they couldn’t do it. They told us we would either need to purchase a cheaper brand like LG or Samsung or hire an electrician to move our wires. So they aren’t prepared to install Bosch machines on a fair amount of houses unless your plug is in a perfect location. Additionally, it was a random possibly fly by night delivery company that used a rented moving vehicle.

I got it for improved access for hard to get items but got little value from it for that. The extended warranty and returns were nice but the evaporate after the membership expires or if you cancel it. Best Buy decided to remove the My Best Buy Elite membership and that bothers me a lot. I would consider this membership if it was 50 but 100-200? Forget it.

Was skeptical but glad I copped
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn’t think $200 yearly membership would be worth it but with the amount of gaming systems, TVs, small and large appliances (our refrigerator) that we purchased from Best Buy in our home, it makes so much sense to have that added protection and peace of mind. Not only that but if you need advice on something, an agent can help plus getting access to exclusive deals and products doesn’t hurt either.
