Need more options

There is no way to extend to 5years unless you remove total tech. Seems like total tech should give more options to choose from. Overall, great to have total tech cover my investments though.

Good product but bad customer service

Product is good to have but user friendly service to get installed was a little bit iffy as the rep was a little unsure about product installation. Made the visit a little uncomfortable.

Beyond Frustrated

It has been a nightmare getting the dishwasher delivery and installation scheduled. I keep getting text messages saying I can schedule online, but then I am directed to a phone number, which I have called SEVEN times now. Do I have the dishwasher delivery and installation scheduled? Nope. I'm not sure what to review about Totaltech if I can't get the appliance. Save your money and frustration and skip buying from here.

Solid Service

The service guys are great, very polite and knowledgeable. The only downsides are: the service is a bit pricey and if you walk in the lines can be long along with the accociated wait time.

Love the coverage on totaltech

Vanessa provided excellent customer service. Something very rare to find in many retail stores today. I wouldn't be surprised if she was promoted to manager soon. She genuinely loves her job, and makes customers feel at home when she's assisting us.

Waste of money

My first attempt at a resolution I was transferred around to several departments for more than an hour. Second attempt I spent another hour to be told that the warranty isn’t valid until after the 1st year. Extremely disappointed with the service and lack of transparency the plan renew annually so Best Buy got 200.00 for the year for absolutely nothing. The service reps didn’t even supply contact information for ProForm. Do not purchase a waste of money.

Worthwhile Membership

The combination of discounts, points, additional warranty and tech support have made this a worthwhile purchase for us. We’ve upgraded almost all our large appliances and have peace of mind on the extended coverage. I’m also switching from buying phone, smart watch, tablet etc directly from the company to Best Buy because of the discounts and included warranty. The membership makes total sense.

Waste of money

Total Tech Support

My banker recommended I use them when I was involved in a terrible computer hack. The man who helped me at Best Buy suggested the yearly contract which has been perfect for me. I use them for all my tech problems plus monthly check ups and tune ups. The new version has added a ton more features. Save yourself headaches with all the tech stuff and give it to the experts to handle for you.

The 60 day price match, free AppleCare and free geek squad set up pays for itself in one use. I like being able to buy an item and not wondering how I’m going to fit it in my car, Geek Squad brings it and sets it up no charge.

Appointment rescheduling notification

Its ok.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far so good coving Apple Care +, the only issue I found was that it wasn't clear that I would have to pay 2 years of Total Tech to get my apple care for the full term. So if you are buying solely for that, it's not really worth it. Anything beyond that seems to be a good deal.

Repair time

My tablet has to be sent out and looked at. It takes 3 weeks to do this? I wish this would of been explained before purchasing. Not happy about it but it's been purchased.

TotalTech Nightmare

Paid for Total Tech to ensure the TV and subwoofer installation were done properly. Tech left a hole in my wall during installation. Repairs took two weeks, and was done poorly. UPDATE as of 2/1 No phone calls. No emails in regards to the property claim that was called in. It seems like the claim was never filed with the insurance company. One would think that a reputable company such as BestBuy would be committed to resolving property claim issues, and that TotalTech ensures it lives up to the same standard. Buyer Beware. This is turning into a TotalTech Nightmare.

Pathetic service from Totaltech

When I placed the order, I called the customer care and told them to deliver only after 26th May but they delivered on 20th May outside the Garage. I called the customer care to pick it up and re-deliver on 26th May. But they picked up only one speaker and the other one still in the Garage. I called the customer care multiple times in this regard and was upset with their response. So, I have cancelled my Total-tech membership as well and received only $163.25 as refund my Totaltech. Please check this and address the issues I have faced.

Unfortunately, total tech doesn't do anything except extend your warranty and return window, which is fine however you don't get any other type of help. Definitely not something you'd want to renew year after year, with the discount on the TV it basically bought me an extended warranty for $99. So for that i guess its worth it, just don't expect any real help or any good customer service. Best Buy doesn't invest in the customer so i wouldn't invest much in them.

Good investment if buying major appliance

Purchased when I recently bought a new oven range and it paid for itself by eliminating the delivery, installation and haul away fee’s. Would give 5 stars but haven’t been member long enough.

Great Value - Can't plan ahead though

I wish the appointment times selected at purchase were real. They are not. The company calls the day before. It could literally be any time on the delivery day. Otherwise, what a great value.

Best Buy does not honor Total Tech plan coverage

The sales supervisor said I had six days to purchase Total Tech. I called on 2/16/2022 and purchased the $199 plan for the laptop. I also purchased a mouse on 2/16. Now Best But says the mouse is covered but the laptop is not covered. That doesn’t even make sense. I have called, chatted, and emailed to rectify their error. Each time Best Buy has promised to confirm the coverage for the laptop, within 24 hours. I have not received anything.
