So I chose the service when I first started installing a ring security system in my house. The first installation was great The tech did everything correctly that I wanted and I told him I'd be using them again to finish off the security system at a later date. When that later date came I bought everything and scheduled everything so all the pieces would be available when they came out to do the install. The tech came out and looks like they had a trainee which was fine I had no problems with that, I told the tech what I wanted and the locations and they got busy promptly. While they were working they told me I couldn't place certain items on The brick of the house I reluctantly agreed to go ahead and install the solar panels on the fascia boards of the roof as you can see from the pictures that doesn't look very professional with the screws protruding that far out I was disappointed with that fact along with the fact that they didn't put the cameras where I wanted because when I first installed a few months back the cameras were available to put on the brick like I wanted them for some reason they didn't do that this time around after all I paid for the specialized service that will also be rated here shortly The cameras were installed but I wasn't happy with it ultimately. I decided after this fact to go ahead and cancel the service it wasn't worth it to me.

I havent had to use this service yet but i can assure you i feel completely safe with this add on for my hardware repairs!!Almost wanting something to break just to see how its handled.!!! Stay tuned for that outcome

Bought Total Tech and have used them three times I am more that happy with the service and their knowledge. I also left my laptop to be fixed in store. Happy with the way they communicated with me and kept me in the loop. It was well worth the cost of the service. All the Techs were helpful and happy to help me. Already have recommended this service to a friend.

I bought this because the Geek Squad Install Squad that came out to wall mount my over $1,000 dollar TV. They didn't seem to know what they were doing but gave constant reassurance. Less than a year later several hundreds of pounds of high tech big screen and metal wall mount slide out of my wall and leave my living room an unusable mess. Turns out they didn't even anchor it properly to a single wall stud. I call in because, logically, the company that gave so many reassurances must be willing to help in some small way at what could have caused major physical harm to myself or any family member. I paid extra for them to install it and even paid for a few months of the protection plan, so they'd at least help me get the broken wall bits and machine out? First phone call I spoke to someone who promised me the world. They were obviously liable and he'd enter the ticket in the system and they would cover everything. Second phone call? They have no record of the first and suddenly I am 100% on my own. The broken TV they sold me? Not their issue after 90 days. The obviously botched installation job that I paid extra for? Sorry sir, you should've kept paying over $300 a month to keep that covered. Yes... that is worth more than your TV ever was.... But no, they're no longer liable in the least somehow- and are going to go back on their word to leave me with a torn open wall and several hundred pound mass of mangled metal. I have to hire a special junk removal company to get Best Buy's failure out of my house before I Get a new one from Amazon.

I wish i was able to take advantage of this opportunity before i started my career using my pc, its great to have help over screen from a professionals when u need help

The membership was great, although I only had to use it once. The webpage leaves a lot to be desired, when trying to end my service membership. Only half the page was able to be viewed. I guessed and I hope successful. Now I get a notice that I made a "purchase" when I dont want to renew.

This membership is the best thing i could of invested in!! I already saved hundreds of dollars. Plus they even fixed 2 of my broken laptops for completely free!!! I couldn’t believe it! The items you wanna get serviced don’t even have to be bought in store, it’s actually crazy how many perks there is to having this membership!

I definitely enjoyed my stint with TotalTech. Exceptional service and the Geek Squad techs were very helpful with the computers we had brought in to get work done! I canceled my membership recently due to not using it as much but I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat seeking a membership of this caliber.

No one does it like total tech it’s the best service no other competitor can offer. This is why people forgot about pc Richard’s. Thank you Best Buy

I'm so impressed with Totaltech. I recently purchased a new laptop and they transferred my existing data efficiently and in a timely manner. I also experienced another minor issue and it was resolved immediately (turned out to be user error on my part). Great value, comfort and security.

This membership has very great value, saves quite a bit of money, tons of great deals on products and best of all geek squad is there to help all the time with whatever you need wether it’s to guide you through in person or over the phone they are there to help. Best Buy total is great!!

Just the overall best value you can find when even compared to big box wholesalers. Evident strong purchasing power and savings passed on. It’s become apparent. Especially with Apples set pricing paramaters and the excellent membership options for support, hands down Best Buy is doing it right

The program is changing not sure if mine is effected but assuming decent prices the discounts offered and tech support for those who need it, it might be a great value not fully sold on it yet tho.

Membership was a good deal, but I found that I didn’t need it, for those who shop at Best Buy I’d recommend it.

The membership is fine but their handling of delivery and installation can be a real mess. Once, they did not show up after sending email that they would be arriving; then they would y cancel their appointment but their web-site is a pice of art--one part of the web-site does not correlate with the other.. their installation of dishwasher was terrible with one tech wanting to change the electric system and the plumbing, visiting twice and wanting to charge extra; finally another tech hooked up the dishwasher without fuss... So the plus side is that deliver free and do installation inspection free...at least that helped avoid extra work.

Every time I purchase something from Best Buy I don't leave the store without this coverage. My daughter had a laptop that the charger port was damaged and because I had this service it didn't cost anything get the laptop replaced. I look forward to the same security with this service on my new devices.

To be hones, this pays for its self. I've had a few appliances delivered and old ones hauled away for free. I recently bought a new laptop and it was $100 off to total members. Extended warranties, etc. I love the expertise of the in store associates and will shop at best buy so it has been a great buy for me.

This membership is great to have when geek squad comes to my house to install my dennon receiver and hook it up.they came out to install ceilings speakers sonance for my surround sound 7.1 Dolby atmos.$179 for year is great purchase for geek squad as handyman install on all electronics.
