    I bought a new GPU from here and it's temps were running far over 80c after just minutes of gameplay, when I told them this, after 40 mins of me repeating myself a couple of times, the only thing they could offer is for me to drive 2 hours there and back for them to look at it a day from now, incredibly frustrating that I drove 2 hours so I could just get a nice GPU and now I don't have a PC for my online classes for the next few days, and I have to spend the little amount of free time I have left driving there and back two more times for me to probably have to wait for them to order a new GPU which will make it take who knows how much longer.

    The membership is pretty good, the price I would say is a bit high but for the perks that it comes with I would say it is worth. The members are very helpful when I had trouble and they handeled everything with professionalism and respect.

    Worth it if you are remodeling!

    With all the installation visits due to a kitchen remodel and the various third party snafus having Total Tech has been a godsend. Most of the installations were covered and I had more easy access to Best Buy Costumer care with all the complications that came up. Agents were courteous and helpful despite all the factors that were out of Best Buy’s control and offered reimbursement for My time and frustration

    The guy that transfer the data from my old computer to my new computer was clueless Call me four different times to ask me questions about what was completed when I dropped off the computer The tech that helped me when I dropped off on Computor was very good and we accomplished a lot

    As a disabled person that has extreme difficulty getting to a Best Buy store I purchased this for help when I might have an item that needs return or replacement. Unfortunately I didn't find out until later that the in-home service only applies to Big ticket items smaller purchases like the ones I've made that I've actually needed replacement you still have to take to the store which has made this virtually useless to me. I'm keeping it only because I did buy a TV that might someday need the in-house service

    The members of geek squad at Best Buy are some of the most incredible people you’ll ever meet they care for you they want the best for you they’ll make sure everything goes right for you for example of item I ordered can you get delivered to my house they had someone on call with me told me where to go so I could pick it up and gave me a refund they work for you and building a relationship with

    I was tricked! Phone customer “care”!!!

    Tried canceling for two years. Tricked into believing it was cancelled and there was going to be a refund. No refund was given after calling back 5+ time I cut my losses. Come to find out for the past two years I’ve been getting charged!!!??? Disgusting. This was a horrible waste of money for a service member like myself. Never going to Best Buy again and telling others to stay away because they cheat people out of money that they could’ve had refunded or not spent in the first place!!!

    I paid extra for this “service” to get a TV and wall mount installed. The technician drilled straight into an electrical wire, tripped my breaker, and said there was something wrong with my house’s wiring rather than owning up to his mistake. This happened on the 7th. I have since contacted Best Buy as well as their external claims service about this issue multiple times, however they won’t refund me for the damages - I had to pay an electrician to fix their mistake. Save your money, time, and sanity.

    Membership 1st use was a bit tedious as IT (india) kept on disconnecting and not calling me back even though the first thing they do is ask for your number for just that reason. When I finally got someone stateside they were very helpful and resolved my issues.

    Waste of money. I cancelled membership yet they auto renewed anyway, and charged me $179.99 on 1/4/24. I cancelled on 1/4/24 and they only gave me $42.22 refund - even though cancelled annual membership immediately on same day charged and did not use any services. In addition, there is no way to remove my credit card information from their website without calling them and spending 45 minutes on the phone.

    We are very happy with our total tech subscription. Our 65inch Samsung tv was delivered,mounted,and set up professionally. The tech duo called with arrival time,arrived promptly was friendly and professional. The nect weel purchased new cell phones which are covered. We feel this subscription will pay for itself in protection,technical services. No regrets so far.

    I keep calling TotalTech, ProTech - not sure why, sorry! This plan is awesome and I would totally recommend the plan. We have purchased multiple items lately. TotalTech has installed, updated, provided recommendations and totally meet or tech challenged needs. We would highly recommend his plan. Thank you Best Buy!

    I was not aware of Totaltech until I visited the store to look for a new desktop computer. I am impressed with all the benefits it provides. It is especially great if you are buying Apple products and would normally buy AppleCare anyway. I bought my desktop, 2 new i pads and an Occulus quest 2 , which are also covered. It is nice to know all my electronics are covered.

    I bought a computer in February 2022 and Best Buy offered me insurance: My Best Buy Total™ for $199 plus tax and they told me that it covered my computer for 24 months and today I went and they didn't validate my insurance because I had to renew it every year so it was just a robbery when I bought this insurance that says it expires in 24 months, I really do not recommend it because when making the claim they give you many excuses for not applying the guarantee. :(

    This membership is somewhat interesting: great if you have tons of tech that requires taking care of, otherwise the futility comes to a yearly membership/subscription that requires a phone call to cancel $. Moreover, learn more about the transparency of the program, and make a rational choice -- there could be something of interest?

    Love having the geek squad in my corner! No worries, just really enjoy using my new Christmas present. It is easy to have any questions you have answered in a quick manner. You don’t have to wait to get an appointment. Many things can be answered over the phone or by chat too. I like being able to get everything in one store too. They have great salespeople too.

    My family had a home fire and we lost about 80% of contents, so we had to replace a lot of electronics. This once per year fee covers everything I have had to purchase, so it is a no-brainer for me. Probably not a good plan if you buy something less expensive.

    This whole experience was a weird nightmare. The techs didn’t show up when supposed to, there were then issues with them getting the product to install in my house, they put HUGE holes in the wall and missed the studs with no apologies or offers to fix. So that was two sets of holes, then it was practically falling off the wall so they had to send someone out to redo it, which put two more sets of large bolt holes in the wall. I would not recommend this to anyone, easier to use a handyman service.

    Great value when purchasing a new computer. They transferred all my files and programs from the old computer to the new at my home. They made suggestions on ways to set up the programs and asked questions to be sure I was getting the maximum benefit from my set up

    Listen, I’m not one to write reviews but when it comes to being a member you cant not for a single second convince me that it’s not worth it, repair… in home consult with tech pros, extended warranty, heck even the RETURN EXCHANGE FEE is waived. My point… if your buying anything worth 100$ or above (almost everything) then it’s doing a dis-service NOT to be a member. Help them help you. Improve your life, improve your purchase
