Process is broken. Customer takes all the burden.

It got delayed and I had to reschedule for Feb 8th. Then it got smashed in delivery and I had to reschedule for March 4th. Then it got smashed again and rescheduled for March 24th. Just got a text today that it got delayed and now delivery is March27th. No follow up, no apology from BestBuy. They don't seem to care. If anyone is listening, my newest case # is 308114366. I wonder how a BestBuy customer service manager would feel if they didn't have an oven for over 4 months.

Absolute waste of money!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a total waste of money; you can't open a service call online you have to call them and speak to someone who doesn't speak or understand English. I had a brand-new Deep Freeze delivered yesterday they left with the door alarm stuck on and when I called for service today, they can't get anyone to me, then they offered to connect me with the manufacturer. Pathetic!

Seems like an okay deal if you shop here a lot

I signed up for PS5 early access but still haven’t been able to buy a PS5 since the start of the program.

Swing and a whiff
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It’s so expensive and there’s still hidden charges the techs don’t tell you about in store when you need to use the membership. They don’t just replace the broken item with a new one like I think should be done, especially with how much this membership is. You’ll have to wait and get it fixed by them. On top of all that you still have to pay what looks like a deductible. Better off with the manufacturers warranty.

If anything goes wrong, I make an appointment or walk-in... might have to wait a bit but it's so worth it. I learned alot from my last visit to your store in St. Peterburg, FL - the tech was MOST helpful.

I highly recommend getting it so you have tech support for the things that come up! They have helped us w/ problems in changing over from outlook to 365 and helped us w/ getting a replacement computer to work so we are up and running after a huge break breakdown on a computer crash…

Peace of Mind

Happy to have peace of mind and help with any installations I may need. Having access to the latest tech is also a big benefit. Geek squad and phone support is huge too. We spend this on fast food or nonsense but are often too cheap to invest in memberships like this. Easy purchase and can’t wait to suggest to my parents too.

I definitely recommend buying this for big and little purchases. The beauty of it is you only have to purchase it once and everything for the next year and those that qualify for the 2-year Geek Squad protection plan will automatically be under this plan and have that extra protection.

Apple care and drop protection **No brainer.

I bought 3 ipads and they covered all three of them and the accessories for only $200 or something. I would have paid that for just the apple care on one or two devices. Plus they do the installation and drop protection plans along with it for that same price. I am kind of blown away by this. It was a no brainer for me.

Checking it out for a year
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only reason I'm subbing is because I lost my Elite Plus rewards. since they don't allow sharing rewards with two accounts now, they split my business rewards from my personal acct. The bad part is that my personal lost all its purchases even though it's older and I had more personal purchases than business this year. I don't need tech support since that's what I do. I just did it for the 2 day shipping and extended returns and, maybe, the discounts.

Totaltech membership

I believed that when I worked with Apple via my phone to reset my problematic iPad, The Apple rep backed up my iPad on the MacBook. The Geek Squad said it was not saved and that wasn’t the issue. So I went local Apple Store and the Genius Bar said, yes indeed you backed the iPad up twice! We removed the backups and was in business for free

The TotalTech membership is overprices & doesn't come with enough perks. I suggest using Wal-Mart when possible for the Allstate protection plan. It is super cheap & replqces your items when they break at no charge, as a protection plan should. Best Buy is horrible. Happy not to work there anymore. It's like a cult of brainwashed retail employees lying through their teeth for a sale that they dont even get commissions or bonuses on...

TotalTech is Awesome!

The perks that comes with it is awesome. I really enjoy this elevated membership on top of Beat Buy Elite Plus membership. The tech support, included warranties on Apple products, returns, and customer service is awesome! Definitely recommend for those dedicated to tech!

Totaltech Membership worth every penny!

They installed the new drive and moved the data over. This is the 3rd machine they do for me. Have done a GREAT job and usually get my machine back in 1-3 days. Very happy with the service. Especially if you have a few older devices like I do.

Highly recommend total tech.

The techs who came out mounted and installed tv and sonos sound system and showed me basics of how to use. Knowledgeable about connections of phone to tv, saving me money by returning apple tv as recommended by salesman in store. Cleaned up dust/ debris as they were installing wall mount.

Great for frequent buyers @ Best Buy

Also will definitely be using this for upcoming install of audio components in my car. It is a lot upfront but also provides lots of benefits. See if those are worth it for you, you may get more than your money back.

LOVE my membership!

I’m pleased to report that I scored a PS5 with much more ease than trying to get it through another retailer. I still had to be vigilant though. After reviewing the rest of the benifits that come with TotalTech, I plan on keeping it indefinitely. Seems like it will prove to be a great deal.

Great protection plan!

The exclusive access is just amazing! I was able to easily purchase games at a discounted rate and easily pick up the switch OLED with no issues! Going forward I will always have this plan! I’ve used Best Buy protection in the past and have had no issues every time!
