I purchased a Totaltech membership upon the purchase of my new laptop. It gives me great comfort knowing that the Geek Squad can take care of any problems my laptop may encounter. It has already helped us out as my husband's laptop needed a checkup. I recommend this with any new laptop or computer purchase.

I got this because I was making several purchases close together and it was cheaper in the long run to get the protection plans all inclusive. I had an opportunity to buy the X box series X, but never got a chance for a ps5.

chat is hyper responsive and highly efficient/skilled in their respective area. in the first week I used chat several times, the dedicated phone line twice and 3 items I purchased were automatically added to the 24month protection plan that is baked into this offering. it's already paid for itself. this is a great product and worth every penny if you frequent BB.

Highly recommend getting if you don't have. Have had to use multiple times. Ordered a dishwasher and get free delivery, installation, and haul away of the old one. Covers most electronics you have unless it is some weird electronic they have never heard of... but in my case i have never had an issue.

I purchased this membership in November 2021 but decided not to renew it his year due to the fact it is 199.99 a year. But if you do not mind paying the yearly fee it is a good investment.

Had my first in-house visit and I couldn’t be happier with the outcomes. The technician (Dusty) was talented, friendly, and efficient. He even had 2 products in his truck that I had neglected to purchase but needed in order to get my laptop, printers, and backup fully functional. I only wish that I had purchased this service years ago.

i own numerous products that were purchased at best buy which have device protection. this allows me to never have to pay for protection services as they are covered by my totaltech membership. i also get special discounts non members would never have access to. if you buy more than 2 or 3 products, the membership pays for itself!

Totaltech really surprised me. I have used it four times since I bought it. I bought some home theater speakers and the Tech team took care of hooking up the wires to the news speakers and the old ones. They set my crazy complicated receiver to work with the speakers and my new TV. And I was surprised that it even covers installing new glass covers on phones.

I purchased this with my new washer and dryer and also Xbox. I needed repairs on my washer and I called to get it scheduled. They told me that it would be around 3 months before they get it scheduled because they were overbooked. By that time, my membership would have to be renewed and as you know, if you need your washer repaired, you need it done way before three months. I canceled that day.

It seems like a steep price at 199.99 a year, but when factoring in how much you save on protection for devices, geek squad services and the unlimited apple care, its a steal. Plus you get the totaltech member deals in-store and online which are added bonuses when sales come or when holidays roll around.

When something goes wrong, you want it fixed and you want it fixed fast. Our annual membership ensures we have peace of mind knowing that we will have someone dealing with the hassle of 'fixing the problem'. For us, the solution is a phone call away. In most cases, our device is back to us well before the promised time.

Very very expensive. Paid 500 for 6 months for a MacBook. 179 for quest 3. For 179 I could have upgraded to 512 gb model and got cover to keep a almost indestructible headset from breaking. Never got a single scent back. Never used services for repairs but I think I should get some money back

I had to have a computer repaired and the cost of the repair was just a little bit more than the cost of a tech contract. So I bought the annual membership because it cost less. I’ve also I’ve already had the opportunity to use in my benefit for three other computers they got checked out and repaired for free I’ll only the cost of the new components

Getting Total Tech was one of my better ideas. The technicians who installed my new TV and connected everything... then spent a lot of time showing me all the features and how to operate them... well, let's just say that the cost of membership is well worth it! I found the techs to be both courteous and competent.

My experience with geek squad has been not good bought a laptop with Totaltech hot it home and it would not charge took it to geek squad. They said they couldn’t fix it in store. They needed to send it off. They sent it off. It returned with the same problem. They wanted to send it off again, I got a refund on the product and the total tech because they did the same things for my laptop that I done at home and I had already explain to them I I had done, but they were going to send it off for at home. Total waste of money .

I had a laptop that needed a new hard drive and it had an extended warranty form another company. I needed to get an estimate of replacing the hard drive. It was cheaper to get the TotalTech membership than to pay to have the drive replaced and the warranty company paid for it! I've since used the membership to purchase and install an appliance. Bonus!

I had a excellent experience purchased my new laptop. Sharif assisted me and was extremely professional, knowledgeable and personable. He was very patient and explained and answered all my questions. I was extemely pleased and appreciative of the service I received from Sharif and the Geek Squad who were excellent and prompt.

So far I am super pleased with my purchase of total tech. I was able to buy a TV and schedule for them to deliver and install it for me, which was a selling point for total tech alone because I was terrified of the idea of trying to mount a tv above my fireplace on my own. The installers did an amazing job and it made the purchase worth it for me.

Would give 0 stars if it was an option. Initial camera installation service appointment scheduled and charged wrong even after the mistake was brought to techs attention; multiple appointments rescheduled without my consent; tried to charge me for mistakes by tech with proof of his mistake in chat transcript. It's been over a month and no cameras installed and no resolution. Keep chat transcripts and document interactions with Best Buy, Geek Squad, and TotalTech for your own protection.

With this service, Best Buy repaired my computer for less than it would have cost to repair without it and they gave me a year of coverage for all of my other tech. Fortunately, I didn’t have any other issues with those toys but it was nice to know that they would be taken care of if they did need help.
