I'm honestly a big fan of the My Best Buy Total membership. You get exclusive member deals and prices on most products, and included with the majority of products is 24 months of protection. Also, if you have the credit card, you get financing plan options which is so helpful. This certainly isn't cheap, but it certainly feels like a bargain!

I took my new laptop and old laptop in and left it with them to transfer data from the old one to the new one. Just one of the features this plan covers.

I purchased this along with 2 hardware upgrades for my laptop and an upgrade to W11. The hardware purchase and installation are great. However, the copying across of my data was not as good. A number of apps did not come across and it is taking me hours to get everything working correctly. The most infuriating was the fact that my relatively new Canon printer would not connect. I called GS and worked with 2 different agents who came to the conclusion that I needed my router updated to a slower speed. I had suggested that there may be a driver issue but was told most emphatically that it was a router problem even though all was fine with W10 and not W11. This was an hour and a half ordeal. I finally gave up and just worked through it myself until I got an updated driver and now the printer and scanner connects just fine. Very poor service from the online GS support!

Like the geek squad guarantees. Reliable however wait time even with appointment can be long.

If you are buying expensive electronics then this is what you need. I’ve bought a $250 remote, $2600 tv and a $700 PS5 and for a 2 year warranty on those three items would be well over $300 so for a little more then half of that they are all protected and anything else I buy will be as well. Love it.
