urchased this membership after I had a problem with my laptop -- managed to get it infected with a nasty chunk of malware. The Geek squad was able to save my machine without losing any of my data or installed programs. And did the fix much faster than they estimated time-wise. I will happily renew this membership next year!

So glad I purchased this added benefit when I purchased my laptop; this service is a valuable resource because it covers all the tech in your house, that includes my husbands tablet, our phones, etc., since purchasing in February, I have availed myself of the benefits twice, with the very knowledgeable and friendly Geek Squad.

Honestly, this is very convenient. I got it because it would help with getting a ps5. But it really became helpful when I got sick and needed to order a thermometer. I ordered it in the morning and it was dropped off a few hours later. Also, it provides with discounts on products that sometimes even open box pricing can’t beat. So thank you.

This Christmas had me buying a new MacBook, iPad, and google chrome cast. Having this Totaltech membership provides 2 year AppleCare coverage so the annual cost is pretty much covered by not having to purchase them separately. All the other benefits are just a bonus for the rest of the year!

Totaltech membership gives you free delivery and set up of large screen TV's. More importantly to me, it gives you a 60 day return policy. I had a tv start flashing after 3 1/2 weeks and without the extended return policy, I might have had an issue returning the tv. For me, the membership is well worth the price.

I did some price comparisons and it was actually a bit cheaper to get the membership and purchase a dishwasher through Best Buy rather than other stores when you consider the product, delivery, installation, and haul away service. The warranty is nice too. Great value if you are looking to buy kitchen appliances.

Geek didn't do his job correctly. Didn't connect correctly to the DNS and other issues but TotalTech, after saying the credit was issued, then it was denied. TotalTech supervisor referred me to the store manager who didn't do anything. They then referred me to Corporate, I still have to do that. The aggravation trying to get the credit for a job that was not performed properly is not worth it. Be careful how you use this support and good luck trying to get an adequate response.

I am not a computer wizard or very technical. In my working days I would call the IT people when I had computer problems, questions or needed a dumb lesson. The Totaltech membership is just perfect for me and for peace of mind. It is money well spent and the Geek Squad people are great.

i would have felt like this was a good deal if they advertised the repair policy better. i brought in a mac that didn't have a working screen, and they sent me through a third party due to a contract they have with apple where they are unable to open the computer. i felt that this is really unfair and limiting to the amount of money you're spending. if there are limitations then please make your customers aware.

I loved the plan previously but they have now eliminated many of the features. I imagine it’s still useful if you are brand new to electronics.

Digital revolution has passed me by. I needed newer computer and printer and decided I also needed expert support to help me understand and use updated equipment. It’s worth the money to get support for Best Buy and other electronic purchases, which they will help with as well. I elected to become a TotalTech Member. It’s paid off.

We purchase the Total Tech protection and the install of our 65" LG OLED TV with mount was free and mounting was on a brick wall requiring additional work to install special screws. There was some confusion with the install dates. So far Total Tech is a great bargain.

Paying for this is a bargain. You know you're going to have some sort of issues in the future, maybe some needs for upgrades (like a bigger harddrive or a new battery). What you're paying for is peace of mind and a plan for the future to get your computer up a running when you need it.

Purchase this for sure! This membership is a HUGE game changer when making any purchase from BBY. The extended return period, included protection plans on ALL products, included installation, all of these things are incredible then factor in the cost savings on certain products and you will have made money back at the end of the purchase.

This membership is a real value. Plus having the Geek Squad on hand to offer their expert advice is a super bonus. The ease of getting help when you need it, online, over the phone or in person the Geek Squad is there when you need them now coupled with TotalTech this is a real asset. You can't beat it!

The membership value is crazy good, i wouldve spent more on warranties on just 2 of the items ive purchased than i did on this plan. Plus you get discounts on a decent amount of things in the store, got a mouse for around half of the retail price. Havent needed to use the warranty yet but when i do im sure it will go smoothly. I was a member for one year. During that year, I brought in a gaming PC (Acer). I was told that they could not find the problem with it, and I would have to send to Acer to get it replaced or repaired. I paid $100 to send it to Acer. They made a very very minor repair, and I had to pay $100 for return shipment. So ... my Totaltech membership was totally useless. Very disappointed and angry.

This membership is really helpful since I had the GeekSquad build my custom PC. I am able to ask a bunch of questions and get tech support on pretty much all of my concerns. The GeekSquad members were all super helpful and addressed the issues I was having and provided solutions. My PC is the best!

If you purchase the membership looking for better customer service then I dont recommend. There were many inconsistencies between what was online and the information the agents provided (possibly a delay in the website updates but confusing nonetheless) a simple return took 5 days to resolve via chat and phone, the day it was resolved it took 4 hours to achieve, I was transferred without notice which is really just wrong from a customer service agent, when i was scheduled i requested multiple times that installation and haul away were required and it was not added resulting in having to contact the company yet again, all in all just standard customer service(i worked in the cancelation department of a certain cable company so believe me i understand how burnt out you can get during the holiday madness - but thats also how i know its sub-par service) all in all my issue was eventually resolved and the exchange is scheduled so i give it three stars (i recieved an email that my exchange went out of stock and needed to be rescheduled but an agent informed me it would be in stock again before my apt date and to disregard the email so we'll see what happens)

If you buy tech devices this plan makes sense. And now has me exclusively buy for Best Buy because I know I don’t have to buy additional protections anymore. My only concern is for a large appliances and that is seen the coverage is still only for two years. I would have no problem paying the difference for additional 3 to 4 years.
