SALESMAN TRUTH?

Requesting Service Sucks!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The customer service relative setting up an appointment to have techs come out to install and mount TVs has been horrific for the year that I had this service. Appointments are scheduled for the incorrect service, then cancelled without notice, etc. The actual techs that end up coming out are great, it's just getting the correct requested service setup initially.

Don’t Buy It!!!

The call representative insisted he could fix my problem over the phone. However he wasn’t able to do so. Three times I asked to set up in home service as a result. He refused insisting he could do via phone. Eventually I became angry and cancelled the membership. Extremely disappointing. Do Not Buy!!! It’s a scam nowadays. Use to be great.

Total tech membership is great

They did a super job. It no longer shuts down constantly and I no longer get screen freezes or strange messages. Plus I still have coverages on all my devices for balance of 12 months.

Love our membership and love the perks

I would have spent more on these if not. TotalTech is an absolute must if you shop a lot at best buy, have a lot of tech electronics at home and are not handy.

User friendly program

Hopefully will not need the warranties but happy to have them on some major TV and appliance purchases. More you buy the more you save. Manager helped to retroactively apply warranty to a purchase.

Good for protection plans, OK for tech support

Worth every penny!

We have already used it twice for two different PC’s and it has already paid for itself. The technicians are great and have resolved the issues quickly and honestly. We also purchase a lot of electronics and appreciate the warranty coverages.

Very Poor Customer Service

I purchased the membership thinking that I would get after hour technical support. The agent connected to my computer. I was told that the issue would be resolved in 2 hours. I was passed on to another customer service agent who did not respond. I called in and went through the lengthy process of connecting Geek Squad to report the issue twice. The After-hours Geek Squad gave me the option of switching agents and waiting for an additional 1 1/2 hrs after waiting for 6 hours. I decided to allow the customer service agent the opportunity to continue with the job because it was late and I was tired after the long wait. is giving the in-store Geek Squad a bad name, What a disappointment ! So far, hours Agent Kaustav has not fixed the issue or communicated with me after having control of my monitor for a total of over 12 hours. The agent ended the session without communicating with me the status of my computer. This is unacceptable service for $200 per year! I would submit screenshots as proof of the chat session with Agent Kaustav K. but there is no option to submit photos

Totally Worth It

We qualified for several rebates because of it along with free delivery/install. Plus, now anything else I buy has a chance at a discount and the 2 year protection.

Incredible value and the peace of mind is priceless!

They were AWESOME! Absolutely knew their stuff inside and out. Pleasant, super efficient and most of all very, very knowledgeable about anything and everything we asked!
