ALREADY BOUGHT TOTAL TECH SERVICE. WAS TOLD THE PLAN WOULD INCLUDE MY NEW 43" TV. UNFORTUNATELY, INCORRECT INFO. WAS CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $$$$FEE.

The customer service relative setting up an appointment to have techs come out to install and mount TVs has been horrific for the year that I had this service. Appointments are scheduled for the incorrect service, then cancelled without notice, etc. The actual techs that end up coming out are great, it's just getting the correct requested service setup initially.

Before this year. The Totaltech menber includes free install/haul away. But now. It's fully not worth the price.

I canceled my membership because when I called for help I received none. The call representative insisted he could fix my problem over the phone. However he wasn’t able to do so. Three times I asked to set up in home service as a result. He refused insisting he could do via phone. Eventually I became angry and cancelled the membership. Extremely disappointing. Do Not Buy!!! It’s a scam nowadays. Use to be great.

Do not use this membership enough. A regular home with not many electronic devices does not require this service.

I purchased this total tech membership so they could cleanup, remove viruses, etc on my home laptop. They did a super job. It no longer shuts down constantly and I no longer get screen freezes or strange messages. Plus I still have coverages on all my devices for balance of 12 months.

This BestBuy totaltech membership has great value, discounts on items, unlimited Geek Squad protection ( which has been amazing for me, and saved me a lot of money) When my desktop computer crashed and I took it to Geek Squad and two days later got it back and working again.

So far I have gotten more in rewards certificates and refunds, free assistance , setup, housecalls by techs. I would have spent more on these if not. TotalTech is an absolute must if you shop a lot at best buy, have a lot of tech electronics at home and are not handy.

New membership program has paid for itself with christmas gifts at discount, delivery and assembly costs. Hopefully will not need the warranties but happy to have them on some major TV and appliance purchases. More you buy the more you save. Manager helped to retroactively apply warranty to a purchase.

Getting protection plans on my purchases is my favorite feature of the membership. Otherwise, I find the Geek Squad experience only satisfactory. The techs are not in the US.

This has been a great service! We have already used it twice for two different PC’s and it has already paid for itself. The technicians are great and have resolved the issues quickly and honestly. We also purchase a lot of electronics and appreciate the warranty coverages.

This rating is for the store manager Karli. I had difficulty accomplishing my repair with the specific Geek Squad member. She intervened and took care of the issue and was very kind and respectful and understanding of my problem. She is a great asset to Best Buy.

TotalTech is worth every penny! TotalTech is totally professional yet friendly. They fix things quickly and well without judgment. It's easy to get an appointment. They offer free classes. The free delivery and set up alone is worth the price. I highly recommend this service.

So far I am very disappointed with the membership.I would give less than one star if possible. I purchased the membership thinking that I would get after hour technical support. The agent connected to my computer. I was told that the issue would be resolved in 2 hours. I was passed on to another customer service agent who did not respond. I called in and went through the lengthy process of connecting Geek Squad to report the issue twice. The After-hours Geek Squad gave me the option of switching agents and waiting for an additional 1 1/2 hrs after waiting for 6 hours. I decided to allow the customer service agent the opportunity to continue with the job because it was late and I was tired after the long wait. is giving the in-store Geek Squad a bad name, What a disappointment ! So far, hours Agent Kaustav has not fixed the issue or communicated with me after having control of my monitor for a total of over 12 hours. The agent ended the session without communicating with me the status of my computer. This is unacceptable service for $200 per year! I would submit screenshots as proof of the chat session with Agent Kaustav K. but there is no option to submit photos

I have since canceled the service since I was locked out of my account at the time that it I had this service.

We got the TotalTech membership earlier this year when we bought new kitchen applicances. We qualified for several rebates because of it along with free delivery/install. Plus, now anything else I buy has a chance at a discount and the 2 year protection.

I had a painful warranty experience with my laptop manufacturer but super helpful and amazing Jeremy from the Pasadena store provided such excellent customer service that I gladly purchased totaltech along with two other laptops. Incredible value and the peace of mind is priceless!

The longer return policy is the best and the every once and awhile you can save some extra money. Not sure if it’s worth $200 yet buts so far it’s been pretty nice

Wasn't sure about purchasing initially, but the special pricing, extended warranties and the Geek Squad are paying for themselves already.

If the guys who came and set up our initial purchase are any indication of the Totaltech membership (Jamal and Adam?) then I am SOLD! They were AWESOME! Absolutely knew their stuff inside and out. Pleasant, super efficient and most of all very, very knowledgeable about anything and everything we asked!
