Ive shopped at Bestbuy for many years. They have one of the best replacement plans offered. This is one of many reasons I come back. With the membership, you get the protection plan on all items eligible automatically. If you shop here regularly, it pays itself off over time.

I have been using this feature for several years and feel that just like car insurance: I can't live without knowing I will be protected. Use auto-pay and then you can relax.

Total Tech has helped me over several years with computer issues. A bit too costly perhaps, but worth it for the most part. With that said, sometimes the Geek Squad agent assigned to your computer or product isn't quite the best and you sometimes have to come back. Sometimes the antivirus is not the reason your wifi is going bad, sometimes it is the wifi card that you told them was going bad.

Its worth it in first purchase the plan was less then apple care for the Macbook i purchased

No brainer on this purchase. Went in for transfer of data from old laptop to new one. Cost of transfer was more than total membership, so bought plan. Now I'm covered for all that can go wrong for one year. Excellent deal.

They offer more protection and services with the My Best Buy Total Membership than you would anywhere else including the manufacturer! The customer service and Geek Squad services and provides more than you’d expect and make it convenient for you and your product. They explain and go over any questions u have on the spot during purchase and happily can compare their services vs other warranties you’ve responsible for seeking out on your own and follow through. They make it all so easy and convenient!

Recommended with new computer purchase - I usually don't do such things but did time. Just the initial new computter setup-data transfer & removing hard drive more than worth the cost of membership. Have since done a laptop health check up (again on an aging item) & they tuned it up for hopefully at least another year or two (not used much)

I originally only got this membership because I was doing a few repairs on my pc and the membership came to a total that was only a few dollars higher than what each repair would cost. After I got it though, I actually started seeing there were a lot of pretty great benefits and the deals tend to bring the prices down to even lower than micro center prices on certain items. *Bonus to those who read this review, Best buy price matches with micro center, which is almost always a good deal.
