    The value for $200 per year should be knocked down a bit in my opinion. But it makes up for it with up to 24 months of protection, dedicated support line (which didn't work for me) plus the early black Friday deals were a plus.

    Lets see what the pros do. Got like 5 tvs that need hung. 50 bucks each plus initial 2 yr warranty on product and laptop services.

    Being I haven't had a new computer for MANY years and was still using Windows 7 -- this available plan for the one year, which includes warranty and access to the Geek Squad 24/7 is well worth the price for peace of mind !

    This is a great value to have especially if you own a computer. The labor cost in some departments don’t exist when you have this plan. That alone makes this a great plan. Also be sure to check out all of its other great benefits.

    Great protection and peace of mind with this membership. Have bought a computer, two TVs, and a soundbar this year. Did not use the free delivery and set up, but the extended coverage on all this tech is well worth the price.

    This item is expensive, 200 plus tax for a year. Especially when they sell you the product so they can work on a problem with your laptop. I spent an hour talking to a member of the Geek Squad concerning the issue. He stated that I needed to buy an external HD to move my data over, while they looked at the laptop. He estimated it would take about 4 days. I was pretty surprised when they called the next day to say it was ready. I went a few days later to pick it up, and asked what was wrong with it. This guy tells me that all they did was move my data to the HD. I definitely was not happy. Especially after being told I needed the HD and the total care to have the laptop worked on. I called back to the store and complained to the manager of the Geek Squad. He stated that he would refund the cost of the Total Care. But now Im stuck with a 1T external HD, with only 20GB on it, Obviously the first guy over sold the size of the HD would need. Had to call the tech line and got a refund of the Total Care. Thought these guys were reputable, Obviously just looking for the sale.

    The Geek Squad helped me fix my Apple computer that I couldn’t figure out. Buying the membership saved me more money than taking it to a computer store. I would suggest this to everyone in this electronic age.

    I had a tough time trying to find someone to fix/properly diagnose my computer. Total tech was my final straw before I let it sit again. They fixed it with super ease. Took my concerns right away.

    Every thing i got is so good and the shipping is very safe if the weather is not good and if its a electric thing they will not deliver it that day and they will deliver it the next day

    If you plan on buying quite a few of appliances and electronics in general. There is alot of value to this add-on membership. The monday exclusive deals are a nice random perk as well.

    One of the best purchases I made at Best Buy! Geek Squad is Great, Easy to work with they walk you thru every step of what they are doing, and explain what is happening. I did not feel like a total tech challenged person!

    [Employee of bestbuy] If you plan on using this membership monthly then yes buy it. Otherwise it’s an absolute waste, you get a yearly subscription and if you only use it once yeah technically you get your moneys worth but if you don’t you’re just wasting it.

    This membership is a must if you own electronic devices. Repair costs are expensive and some cases cheaper to buy a new device. The value of this membership is far less expensive than replacing broken electronic devices.

      Totaltech is certainly helpful down the line if a product needs to be repaired or replaced since the membership comes with 24 months of protection on new purchases.
