I have not had to use total tech many times, but I believe it paid for itself when my son’s computer broke down 30 days or so after Christmas and 2 months after purchase. I would recommend that you ask questions on how they checked your computer if they need you to purchase a new piece in the computer bc when we asked why we would need to replace a $150 piece (some board) they said they could take a look at it on another more powerful machine and maybe reset it. I’m asking that question I saved $150. Why did they not try the reboot on the stronger computer and want to charge me for a piece that didn’t need repair is beyond me. So I just advise to ask questions but they can solve your problems.

This is the best membership ive ever bought in my whole life. The savings are huge, the free protection alone is worth it and not including all the other perks like 24/7 customer service and geek squad and points. It’s almost hard to keep up with everything lol. I personally like the super easy return process because I’m very indecisive and like to order different things and try them and compare them and returning is a breeze. I recommend all my friends and co workers to get the membership it’s without a doubt the best thing since sliced bread. Thank you Best Buy for the amazing savings and especially at the holidays. I will be getting another when mine expires.
