I have had two problems since the replace the previous program with Total Tech. First, I purchased Webroot since it was no longer a free perk. I asked Geek Squad to install it on my computer so I would know it was done correctly. The key codes were sent to my Best Buy account. After two months I was alerted by a pop up that my computer was not protected and it was time to renew. I spent six hours with Geek Squad. The key codes mysteriously disappeared from my account. They finally said there was nothing the could do. I asked for a refund and waited. After another long wait, they said they could not refund my purchase. The second problem came when my refrigerator needed a repair covered by my extended service plan which I paid extra for. I schedule an appointment and was told I would get a confirmation email. That never arrived. I reconnected and was told not to worry about it, but hey would send it. It still did not arrive. On the day of service I reconnected to confirm they would be here on that day. They said not to worry. The service time came and went. I reconnected and was told they were delayed but I would be next. Two hours later, no one came. I reconnected and they told me the appointment had been cancelled. Apparently the appointment was made in another person's name. After all the times I asked for the confirmation email and being told not to worry, I discovered that Total Tech did not do their job. I had to reschedule and take more time off. I had been a member of the older program for many years and had always been satisfied. Now, when this expires, I'll be looking for something different. It's so sad.

Very knowledgeable and professional. I just did not know what questions to ask, so I had questions later.

bought a good lap top with this and got to use the laptop max a few weeks and seen geeksquad more then 4 times in two uears plus a bad ssd i had pad before the $80 still for new ssd so its not the best in my situation bit def do you pros and cons

This membership is a must! Its soooo worth it. I’m not regretting getting this. Having a protection plans for all of our purchases it was a peace of mind.

This membership is more that worth it! The amount of discounts you get are awesome but also free installations really sold it for me. I would highly recommend getting this membership if you shop at Best Buy.

Signed up for this service following a problem with my older laptop. The Geek Squad crew diagnosed a number of problem but recommended that I replace the unit with a new model.

I purchased this when I purchased my new Apple Watch and I ended up haveing to buy new appliances and the free delivery set up and take away more than paid for what I paid for the program.

So far enjoying the membership! Got help setting up my new iPad and help picking out the right cable before I purchased extra. I plan to use the service more and am glad to have them available.

The membership is really worth the investment. As I read what it offers would help in many ways down the road. I recommend this membership if you are purchasing any product.

Knowing that ALL your stuff is covered under one roof is SO nice! Easy of management, multiple locations live or 800 support. I've been saying for years that they should do this all under one umbrella - kudos BB!

Total tech has been of no help what’s so ever! I’ve come to regret purchasing it. I’ve called the service number and have gotten transfer from one department to another. Non of them have offer a solution to my on going issue. Today I was told they couldn’t help me! like really ?!? No solution to my problems ?

It's definitely worth the price of admission if you're into consumer electronics! Totaltech members get a collection of perks ranging from around-the-clock tech support to exclusive member prices on products.

If you buy a pricey item then you definitely want to spend a little extra to protect it. The fact that it covers everything you purchase there is no reason to buy the individual protection plans

Very happy to have this membership and the geek squad available to transfer data from our old computers to our new computers. Peace of mind having them set up our new desktop & laptop computers.

So far this has been very helpful. Easy to use with the chat function (I also work in chat/phones online sales so being able to chat while working especially helpful).

I personally don’t think it’s worth the cost. I’m not a fan of it.

Used it to buy a washer/dryer, TV and Mount and have had them all installed! The instal is quick and done correctly. The member pricing is one of the main selling points!

I should have purchased this years ago. I was able to benefit from the membership IMMEDIATELY. It pays for itself. I had to use TotalTech 3 days after I purchased it. Paid for itself.

Am glad I bought this membership. I got my computer checked at no cost, and my new microwave was installed at no cost.
