As it turned out we set the laptop and software up the next day and transferred data from our old PC without any problems. We therefore canceled the membership.

My Best Buy Total also does provide protection for up to two years while the plan is active to any purchases made while it is active. (Brand New by the way) But thankfully i had gotten the Best buy Yearly membership for $180 and they fixed it and if i didn’t get the membership it could’ve been over $400. so I'm SO THANKFUL that i had gotten it because it saved my money.
