    Orignally I purchased My Best Buy Total to help support a linux box I had. But now locally they have no technician to support linux. I bought glass protection for my iphone and they promised free replacement, then Best Buy stop carrying the product. I may soon stop renewing membership.

    As an international student, having a reliable membership like Best Buy's can indeed provide peace of mind and value for money when it comes to purchasing and protecting electronic devices.     I would appreciate the opportunity to see more deals and better deals for members. The savings for members are minimal, and the primary benefit, in my opinion, would be the extended warranty, longer return times, and support. However, even these benefits are questionable in terms of their value. Despite these benefits, their value remains uncertain. While frequent Best Buy customers who purchase multiple items monthly may derive significant benefits, individuals who only purchase a single item, such as a television or game console annually, may find the program less advantageous..

    Granny loves the Geek Squad

    I could not do without the Geek Squad in-home visits. I especially like my favorite technician, Alex. He is very knowledgeable and patient with a non techie like me. I have never had a problem he could not solve.

    No more Best Buy for me

    I have had this membership for years. Have a best buy credit card. My GE 2 in 1 needed service during the 24 mo warranty and I called and got an appointment. Best available date is a week out and cost me $100. Fair enough, I knew the price when I bought the washer. I make sure I'm off work, rework all my appointments. Between scheduling and the day of the appointment I get 4 text messages confirming the date and the last one told me I would receive a call from the technician in the last 24 hrs to confirm time. Day of appointment, nothing. No call, no text, no email. I call Geek Squad's phone number and the automation confirms my appointment, but online on my account shows nothing. I finally get someone on the phone, he can not find my appointment. After a lengthy hold, we find out Best Buy used a 3rd party for the repair and they canceled THE DAY BEFORE. Again, no notification to me. Next available date is another entire week. I don't typically write bad reviews, I also typically don't get too worked up, stuff happens. But they knew the day before and I could have been at work. I ask what they can do about it and they offer me a $25 voucher to use in the store. Nope! I go to the store in Cypress, TX. The associate was very nice said she would type up an escalation. About an hour later I get a call, again, another week is as good as they can do, and she offers $25. I ask for a manager, now I'm getting testy. She comes back saying she "partnered with a manager" and offers me $50. Now another week, another day off, they charged me $100 and offer me $50. I demand to talk to a manager, when she finally gets on she says $50 is all they can do and nothing can be done about expediting. I let her know at this point, either they credit me the full $100 and fix the machine since I am now losing 2 days of work, 2 weeks without laundry, and I would have to take time to go to a washeteria, or they can write me off as a future customer. Knowing that $50 (which is extremely fair in my eyes) was too much. I am now cancelling all emails, writing my reviews, and Best Buy lost a loyal customer for good. I now have new machines from a local store (it wasn't about the money) and Best Buy has lost me for good. Best part is, the next day they upped my credit limit on my card by $2k....

    I haven't really had a chance to use all the benefits that come as a part of this membership, but the fact that I got Apple Care + included with my new MacBook and a discount on top of what was an already great price, made it worth it. It's also what encouraged me to buy now instead of waiting. The salesperson told me that I could use the extended return window as a way of guaranteeing that I got the best price offered during the next 60 days. I am excited to use my membership benefits though the next year. I would recommend this to anyone considering a larger purchase or anyone who shops at Best Buy regularly. Totally worth it.

    BEST BUY TOTAL Membership is a MUST in our home. I worked for a Tech company for 44 years, so I am very tech savvy, however, there is always something new that comes along. The GEEK SQUAD is always there for us and has solved numerous issues. TOTALLY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!

    Considering the Best Buy total subscription package, it is a great value for the price you pay. It’s amazing with Apple products you get to use of AppleCare when you have the highest tier of Best Buy total when you purchase Apple products at Best Buy furthermore, you get two years of added Geek Squad protection on any other purchases made at Best Buy as well on any other products and not to mention the discounts, those are exemplary and are fair, and in all honesty, well worth the subscription. I shop at Best Buy all the time for many technologies. And having a subscription definitely helps and it’s a definite buy, would highly recommend!
