    Quite a surprise when I took my computer tower to best buy at Gateway Mall! I explained the problem I was having with it, and they solved my issue for no charge! After that, it was a no- brainer to buy the yearly plan!

    The best membership i have bought. i love the discounts on products it has on sale the extra savings that it gives me for being a member. The GEEK SQUAD has helped me save lots of money on needed repairs, I recommend everyone get the GEEK SQUAD, in the long run you do save.

    The service that doesn't deliver

    I purchased a new refrigerator from Best Buy to replace the old one that broke. As Totaltech member, I am get free delivery and haul away service, which was the main reason why I purchased the new fridge at Best Buy, as the model is being sold at many other local retailers. When the delivery guys arrived, they measured the stairway and claimed that the fridge won't fit, refusing to carry the fridge upstairs, even though the new fridge was smaller than the old one being replaced, which Lowe's had no problem delivering in the past. The Geek Squad delivery guys are just lazy and used some lame excuse, saying they were not allowed to lift the fridge above the knee, which would be necessary to carry it upstairs. They offered to leave the fridge in the garage, which I refused, so they put the fridge back on the truck and left. I am canceling my Totaltech membership and will never ever purchase any appliances at Best Buy.

    This is a great price and it protects everything you buy instead of having to buy it for each item you purchase. Protection is the best thing you can get for your electronics. Everything or Anything can have something wrong with it that you can't see. This protection covers those unforeseen issues.

    Considering the computers repaired since we purchased the plan, this plan has more than paid for itself. I shop at the store in San Marcos, CA and I've been super satisfied in and with all departments. Courteous, and friendly and knowledgeable personnel with a willingness to assist. Benefits are crazy good!

    Total Tech saves money

    This saved me money as I brought my computer in with the message the hard drive was failing in only 2 years. They were able to install a new hard drive and transfer all data with no issues.

    I just recently purchased Totaltech and having the mindset that if I have trouble with my new laptop, gives me relief. The salesman (Isaiah) was thorough and convinced me that BestBuys' Totaltech team is available and waiting to help me. By the way, I love the 2 + 1 laptop that also purchased.

    TotalTech is Tota Crap

    I stupidly thought I was saving money by buying a TotalTech membership for my 2 appliances since I would save $100 over my local store on installation and haul away. Boy was that a dumb move! First, I should have supported the local store. But $100 is $100. The biggest issue is the "service". I bought a microwave & dishwasher. The dishwasher was back ordered so even though the microwave was able to be delivered the next day, they wouldn't let me split delivery. Dishwasher was available Feb 3rd and they gave me a combined appointment of the 7th. Then when I called to split the deliveries, my dishwasher deliver which SHOULD have been the 7th was moved to the 15th. The guy arrived on the 15th and said I needed something done to make the install work. So he took the machine away and I got the repair done. 3 days later I call to redeliver. I get an appointment for the 20th. The driver shows up and there are huge dings in the machine. I SHOULD have told them to install it and when a new one was available they could swap it out. But on faith, I rejected delivery. The driver told me I'd get a call to reschedule. No call from Best Buy. So I call them. They schedule me for delivery 2 days later. I get a confirmation email AND someone calls the next day to confirm delivery window - 9am-1pm. Like a dummy, I wait around and no one comes. As it approaches 1pm, I call to see when the delivery will come. The agent tells me they don't have an appointment scheduled and they can't schedule delivery. Someone will call me back. They don't call. So the next day I call them. Now the machine is backordered till March 19th. But they will escalate to a warehouse manager who will call within 48 hours to see if they could find a machine in a different store. You guessed it! No return call. It's been 4 days. Not even a courtesy to say "sorry, we couldn't find one sooner". So again I repeat that TotalTech was a total waste of money and I should have bought local.

    This membership is a real asset. Had trouble setting up my printer/scanner and had a person on the line helping me every step of the way. The Geek Squad set-up our 2 new laptops and transferred everything from them. It was nice to know everything was ready to go when we turned them on.

    Total tech is totally worth it if you have multiple purchases. I had multiple TVs mounted that would have hit my wallet, but total tech provided service at a great price. I also got warranty and special offers on all Best Buy purchases.

    I am one of those people who say, Total Tech support Support!! We don't need that!! That's just a way for them to ĝet more money from us... WELL I WAS WRONG!!! IF YOU BUY ELECTRONICS, YOU NEED TO GET THE TOTAL TECH. Just call the geek squad for they are your TECH HEROES.....

    Sounds like a good idea. Lets see how useful it really is. I already bought 2 laptops, a TV and 2 cell phones. My feeling is that all you need to do is some research and make good choices when it comes to electronics. So is TotalTech really worth it? Ill let you know when its time to renew

    I scheduled them to come and fix my TV at my new apartment, and they comes at times and I told them the way I wanted my TV to be fixed and they did it the exact way with no complications, and it was so fast. Best Buy is the best tech for your needs.

    Total Tech Member Sean is the Best !!!! He really knows his stuff with computers --- he set me up and transferred all the Data to my new Laptop and Upgraded all our email accounts ---- I'm not real savvy on the computer, He made me comfortable and hooked us up in Style !!!!     Has totally paid for itself a few times. The people handling support and scheduling are great. Very worth the cost if you purchase a lot of stuff through Best Buy, which we do, because they've earned our loyalty.

    I made a major home remodel and paid for this membership for a year. After the year I cancelled the membership and afterwards was told I lost all of the warranties and benefits on the products I purchased under the membership. I tried to reactivate the membership and was told over the phone there was nothing that could be done to reactivate for the products I had already purchased. I requested a manager and was told there was nothing a manager could do and ultimately was hung up on. I purchased a $10k stove that I had asked if there was something that could be done for this product as it was still covered by the manufacturer warranty and still was told there was nothing that could be done. I will not be shopping at Best Buy in the future based on this and the other customer service issues I have experienced through this process. That same stove was delivered and placed in my backyard and wasn’t set to be installed for 3 weeks. It sat outside for days while I fought to get it installed. Buyer beware.
