    Honestly! Having Total Tech Membership was a win!!! I have not regretted it what so ever! It was worth it. They would help me deliver my orders from best buy answer all my questions I needed. As well provided me with the right help and information!

    DO NOT PAY FOR THIS, just get a singular warranty on every item you purchase. I did not want this membership. The day I paid for this membership I only wanted to get a warranty on the vacuum I was purchasing but the two separate Best Buy members told me that if I did not want the membership after a year I could cancel it and I would still have a two-year warranty from the day I purchased the vacuum. Once the year was up I canceled because I barely bought anything else. I recently tried to return a broken mouse I purchased within the first year which I was told would still be under warranty. When I tried to exchange the broken mouse they told me the warranty expired the day I didn't repurchase the membership. This plan is a scam. If I hadn't bought anything else that year I would have paid $400 to ensure I had a warranty on the vacuum for two years, when I would have originally paid $40 for the two-year warranty. If you buy one thing you are paying around $400 to have insurance for two years, even if the item costs $20. Now I have no warranties on anything I bought in that time. I will never shop at Best Buy ever again. 0 stars

    TotalTech is Tota Crap

    I stupidly thought I was saving money by buying a TotalTech membership for my 2 appliances since I would save $100 over my local store on installation and haul away. Boy was that a dumb move! First, I should have supported the local store. But $100 is $100. The biggest issue is the "service". I bought a microwave & dishwasher. The dishwasher was back ordered so even though the microwave was able to be delivered the next day, they wouldn't let me split delivery. Dishwasher was available Feb 3rd and they gave me a combined appointment of the 7th. Then when I called to split the deliveries, my dishwasher deliver which SHOULD have been the 7th was moved to the 15th. The guy arrived on the 15th and said I needed something done to make the install work. So he took the machine away and I got the repair done. 3 days later I call to redeliver. I get an appointment for the 20th. The driver shows up and there are huge dings in the machine. I SHOULD have told them to install it and when a new one was available they could swap it out. But on faith, I rejected delivery. The driver told me I'd get a call to reschedule. No call from Best Buy. So I call them. They schedule me for delivery 2 days later. I get a confirmation email AND someone calls the next day to confirm delivery window - 9am-1pm. Like a dummy, I wait around and no one comes. As it approaches 1pm, I call to see when the delivery will come. The agent tells me they don't have an appointment scheduled and they can't schedule delivery. Someone will call me back. They don't call. So the next day I call them. Now the machine is backordered till March 19th. But they will escalate to a warehouse manager who will call within 48 hours to see if they could find a machine in a different store. You guessed it! No return call. It's been 4 days. Not even a courtesy to say "sorry, we couldn't find one sooner". So again I repeat that TotalTech was a total waste of money and I should have bought local.

    We really have not had the need to use the total tech service. But it is nice to have it in case it’s needed. One of the great perks, is that you can add any new device you purchase to it.

    This review is for last year. Extended warranty coverage could make this worth it, except it does not include installation anymore and other companies have the extended warranty. If they discounted the installation charges it could make a difference

    Total Tech Member Sean is the Best !!!! He really knows his stuff with computers --- he set me up and transferred all the Data to my new Laptop and Upgraded all our email accounts ---- I'm not real savvy on the computer, He made me comfortable and hooked us up in Style !!!! Thanks again Sean !!!!!

    The membership service is great for those that both purchase a free items in a year as well as of course even more beneficial to those like me who are "power tech users". Not only are the bonus offers and sales as well as special pricing awesome but the tech sorry if clutch for many years.

    I made a major home remodel and paid for this membership for a year. After the year I cancelled the membership and afterwards was told I lost all of the warranties and benefits on the products I purchased under the membership. I tried to reactivate the membership and was told over the phone there was nothing that could be done to reactivate for the products I had already purchased. I requested a manager and was told there was nothing a manager could do and ultimately was hung up on. I purchased a $10k stove that I had asked if there was something that could be done for this product as it was still covered by the manufacturer warranty and still was told there was nothing that could be done. I will not be shopping at Best Buy in the future based on this and the other customer service issues I have experienced through this process. That same stove was delivered and placed in my backyard and wasn’t set to be installed for 3 weeks. It sat outside for days while I fought to get it installed. Buyer beware.

    Disappointed with surprise $$$ at installation

    We purchased the membership to assist with installation costs for the new refrigerator, dishwasher, range, and vent hood. The refrigerator shelf is bowing. The vent hood 'needed' additional electrical outlet (at an additional, on-the-spot cost) even though there was an existing outlet within cord length - less than 2 feet - of the new outlet. We felt fleeced. The membership is way too expensive to only last a year.

    This membership is actually worth it. You will save money if you have to return something like a camera or a drone cuz they have a 25% restocking fee that it waves when you return it. Paid for itself on a drone I had to return.

    The Geek Squad was great in setting me up with my first personal laptop and ensuring all applications were loaded and ready to go. Next-day response time from a late afternoon purchase was terrific. Technicians were professional, personable, and thorough. Haven't needed follow-up help, yet.

    I first subscribed for the 24 months of warrenty service on some new tvs I was purchasing and then I saw the savings with total tech prices and decided that I would not only be keeping this membership but I have also gotten many family members and friends to get the service for themselves.

    Awesome value. Between two installations and an extended price matching offer it has more than paid for itself this year for me. Since they're changing the program I wouldn't recommend it going forward.

    Love the membership. Having Techs come to my house to fix my computer when I am disabled and hard to get out let alone dragging heavy electronics to the store has been a godsend. I must admit the free house calls are why I wanted this protection plan to begin with. Totally worth it.
