I see this as part of insuring my life. All these essential items should be insured and to have the GEEK SQUAD available is an absolute MUST HAVE. The whole family is more functional because of these BEST BUY SERVICES.

This review is for last year. Extended warranty coverage could make this worth it, except it does not include installation anymore and other companies have the extended warranty. If they discounted the installation charges it could make a difference

i am very satisfied with Totaltech and Geek Squad. They make my life easy when it comes to repairing my computer. They are very patient with me and they help me understand what needs to be done with my computer to make it functional again. They saved me a lot of time and money

Awesome value. Between two installations and an extended price matching offer it has more than paid for itself this year for me. Since they're changing the program I wouldn't recommend it going forward.

This membership is a great buy. It helps me install items.

I bought geek squad protection when I purchased my items and I hate to say it but it came in handy. My microwave stopped working and cracked and thankfully with the protection plan was able to replace it without any problems.

Staff is superb for phone support related issues and resolution . Very supportive in purchase / order modifications process. But practical on site service and help poor

Always friendly. They help you fix your issues with your gear. Really i haven't had any problems with the overall service i get. I will get it again.

The best option to have a guarantee of the products without spending more, or they fix it or replace it, at a price that is really lower than that of a repair and the best thing is that all the items purchased under the coverage are included without paying a dollar more

This is an amazing option. I was going with the traditional warranty until I asked Geek Squad several questions which made my decision easier. I can extend the warranty on yearly basis. plus set up TV and haul away was free in membership. Totaltech is worth every penny and im very happy.

I love this membership. I recently had problems with my gaming laptop so I purchased the Best Buy totaltech membership and it really helped me get back on track with absolutely no problems. If you are are an avid tech person or gamer, it’s the best option.

It is always helpful to have it. I wish they allow you to add products that you have bought recently within a month or so. The customer is pay a full year membership anyway.

So far, I have had my first laptop brought in for service. It was VERY slow in response. A new drive was copied and installed, and a malicious download was removed. It is VERY responsive now. I plan on taking advantage of this program by bringing in my other computer for a tune up!

This is worth every penny…from the time you make the purchase to the time you need to use the service…either at the store or over the phone or even when you buy a new device….sorth it’s weight in gold because they “got you covered”!

Totaltech totally rocks, especially for those of us 'elder folks' for whom computers are a bit of a mystery for mastering our skills on one! The Tech Crew at the Broadway store in Tucson, AZ are excellent help and know their craft perfectly!

We purchased the membership to assist with installation costs for the new refrigerator, dishwasher, range, and vent hood. The refrigerator shelf is bowing. The vent hood 'needed' additional electrical outlet (at an additional, on-the-spot cost) even though there was an existing outlet within cord length - less than 2 feet - of the new outlet. We felt fleeced. The membership is way too expensive to only last a year.

I bought the total tech membership when I purchased my new Mac laptop. I was concerned about losing any items from old one. The technicians could not have been nicer. Very professional and knowledgeable. This covers all my items, even if I didn’t buy it at best buy. Fantastic.
