Got this membership when i first got my pc and it rlly comes in handy if you need to upgrade or your pc keeps crashing like mine did it comes in handy and i see it's a lot of money up front but it helps you save money in the long run especially if you're a gamer!!!!

This membership has been well worth it for my family which has purchased appliances and laptops from bestbuy. It has saved us significant repair bills. The additional warranty is worth the price of memberships if you buy multiple things from BestBuy and the warranties are extendible.

The memebership is plagued by the Goleta stores Geek squad and other dept. understaffing. I would have 3-4 customers who did not make appts taking up the agents time, or distracting me from getting my problem addressed. This happened very often, and greatly diminishes the plans appeal. Also, the Phone dept is most times not staffed, so those customers are directed over to the Geek squad, further adding to the problem. As well, many times multiple persons are scheduled at the same appt time, Threrefore I did not renew, to frustrating. Appointments are often duplicated to several customers

This membership generally costs $200 a year. But this membership payed for itself on my first purchase. I waited for a product to drop in price when it hit on the 'daily deals'. After applying the 2-year bb coverage, the total purchase price was $400 after tax. When joining the Total Tech membership during checkout, the price of the product actually dropped over $110 dollars and also included the 2-year coverage (so long as I'm a total tech member for that span). The cost after purchase, with joining total tech, was just a little over $400. Moving forward I get the benefits of total tech membership prices, services and other features for spending money I was already going to spend. I'm so happy

This membership has done exactly what I needed it to do!

I'm not sure of the value at this point. I called for assistance with my printer and spent 3 hours on the phone. The 1st 40 minutes with tier 1 technical support then transferred to tier 2 tech support. The tech ended the session and my issue was unresolved.

I love that the membership prices are resonable and the fact that I get unlimited geek squad support! It is a great value for what you get! I love having the peace of mind that my device is covered!
