    I plan ton installing a several things on my car, now the installation services it’s removed from the benefit, don’t see the point to invest on something you never use

    I thought would enjoy this membership. But I experienced nothing but hassles since purchase. And the customer service reps seemed like they didn’t care at all. Told me I needed to take my issue up the internal best buy team not them.

    Not worth the money. There will be exceptions to everything they tell you that comes with the plan and if you cancel based on the constant inconsistency they will deduct any amount they feel their owed for any services provided during your membership. SCAMMM

    This membership is a great value. You can buy this and get delivery and installation fee waived if you buy appliances. Totally worth it

    I received an email on 10/12 regarding my trend micro security subscription stating that the credit card on file was not accepting the charge ( i lost that card back in May). I sent the new card # immediately and all was fine. I traveled outside of the country on 10/20 and did not have internet access for a week. An email was sent to me on 10/23 stating that the card on file was not accepting the charge for my renewing Total Tech membership. I missed the email due to having no internet access, and my membership was canceled. I had no idea that my membership was canceled until I called Geek Squad on 11/26 to schedule a service call. I called customer service on 11/29 and spoke to Yesenia(supervisor). I explained that I never saw the email about the credit card. And I said that Best Buy already had my new credit card on file when I updated the trend micro subscription. Yesenia said neither of those things matter. The policy is the policy. Once the membership expires it can't be reinstated for any reason. I tried to make the case that common sense should come into play here and an exception was warranted. She wasn't having any of it. I asked for her manager, and she told me there is no one else I can speak with. This is very poor service. I ran a very large sales organization before I retired. We had firm policies too but made exceptions when there were extenuating circumstances. It's what you do. The case# is 300684751 if anyone reading this wants to help me.

    Beware, if you buy this membership and cancel it, all the protection plans you get through it are immediately canceled. Also, you are locked out from buying the regular protection plans that last without the membership for its duration. Only buy if it is worth the costs knowing this.
