No more physical dvd”s killed it for me

Especially if you're planning on installing a sound system. The website makes it seem like you won't pay ANYTHING only things you need or are missing. Well thats not the case I talked to 3 different people from best buy/geek squad to get both information and set an appointment. All of them knew i had bought my own equipment and each and everyone of them told me if i had totaltech all i would have to pay for is any missing wires ect. Well lo and behold that was not the case. Took in my car on the day of appointment and was told that i would still have $350 for the installation. They gave me the option to return my membership and use that towards to the installation fee at first i agreed, but after the tech took a look at my equipment he told me i was still missing wires so he left to get me a quote when he came back the estimate was $496 not including the refund for the memebership it was still going to be 300 plus tax. Honestly its really just not worth it. Out of curiosity I looked through best buy for pricing on everything that i already had and let me tell you, you're better off going to a different place. The total for all the equipment through best buy was $619 before tax not including still having to pay $200 for totaltech, its ridiculous. Mind you I tried searching for the lowest yet reliable equipment. I can't fathom anyone willingly paying $800 for everything to just get the install free.

The refrigerator is already leaking at the point where the water filter is installed. I called Total Tech and they were absolutely no help. They don't know the product and even when I told them what it was, they keep failing to locate the water filter, telling me it was in an area it wasn't. I think Total Tech is something Best Buy came up with to sell but didn't put the thought and resources into it necessary to make it successful.
