    Can't get anyone to fix my membership

    I’m getting really frustrated with this. I am getting the run around and can't talk to anyone who can help. I signed up for total tech on 1/11/2022. On 1/10/2023, I got a phishing email that looked like it was from Best Buy that said my membership was renewing that same day for $349. I thought the price had been changed to from $199 to $349. So I logged into my account and hit cancel. I then realized it was a fake email and the sender was from a gmail account. So I immediately called and asked for it to not be cancelled and said I wanted it to renewed as originally scheduled on 1/11/2023 which was the next day. I called within 5 minutes of me canceling. Also, it was one day before the end of the term so it shoud have still been active anyway. I was told that it would be fixed so it would renew and all of my prior coverage would continue. I then got an email the next day sayign tit was cancelled and all of my coveraged products were dropped. So I called back on 1/11 as soon as I saw the email. I was told it was being expedited would take 24-48 hours and it would be fixed. It didn't get fixed so I called back on 1/14/2023. I was told it again would be expedited and it would take 24-48 hours. It still didn't get fixed so I call back on 1/17/2023. I was once again told it was being expedited. I was also told that this time I would get a call back the same day from someone who can fix it. No one ever called me back as promised. So I called back again on 1/18/2023. This time I was told it was being expedited again. However, this time I was told it would take 5-7 days. I was also told that it needed approval and it may not get fixed. I realize it was my mistake for being tricked by a phishing email that looked very legitimate. However, common sense should prevail here. I realized my mistake and called within 5 minutes of making the mistake. Also, the term had not even ended yet so undoing the pending cancellation should have been doable. I had 2 macbook Apple Care + plus quite a few other products on it. I’m very disappointed that I’ve been getting the run around and nobody has been able to help with with this. I have some more products I am needing to purchase. However, I’ve been holding off on the purchases and waiting for this to get fixed because I want the new purchases to be covered but I don’t want to sign up for a new plan because I’ll lose my prior coverages. Whether I make my new purchases at Best Buy is now depending on whether someone actually fixes my total tech account. If my account doesn’t get fixed, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

    Totaltech membership ONLY WAY TO GO!

    Geek squad Totaltech is the only way to go. We purchase all of our appliances through BestBuy and comforted by the fact our appliances are covered completely when something goes wrong. Get a membership! Worth every penny!

    You can't go wrong with this membership if you purchase and/or have a lot of electronics! Having the protection on all your Best Buy purchases during a membership can save you hundreds of dollars if one of them should stop working. It did for me.

    Sean who is the store manager is solid! I travel an hour away just to buy whatever I need. His employees are very knowledgeable when tbey are helping me out. Kuddos to this location & staff. They will have my business over any other place !

    Great service and product but I truly miss total tech stacked with geek squad protection plan plus product replacement. It was reassuring I could purches extra years of benefits for the really pricy tech . It cost more but good customers dont mind.

    This membership has already paid for itself! The discounts are amazing and customer service is A+! Everything we have needed help with there has been an actual person to help! Thank you all for this total membership, I’m never letting it end!

    This is an amazing option. I was going with the traditional warranty until I asked Geek Squad several questions which made my decision easier. I can extend the warranty on yearly basis. plus set up TV and haul away was free in membership. Totaltech is worth every penny and im very happy.

    Having unlimited tech support for all technologies just a simple phone call away is a blessing. I don’t have to worry about finding someone with knowledge about my model. The techs are all very helpful. The member pricing on Best Buy products is a big plus.

    It is always helpful to have it. I wish they allow you to add products that you have bought recently within a month or so. The customer is pay a full year membership anyway.

    So far, I have had my first laptop brought in for service. It was VERY slow in response. A new drive was copied and installed, and a malicious download was removed. It is VERY responsive now. I plan on taking advantage of this program by bringing in my other computer for a tune up!

    Didn't think I would use this much and didn't plan on renewing it, but I have used it several times and it saves me a ton of money on deliveries and installations. I will keep it current from now on. Good deal.

    I bought the total tech membership when I purchased my new Mac laptop. I was concerned about losing any items from old one. The technicians could not have been nicer. Very professional and knowledgeable. This covers all my items, even if I didn’t buy it at best buy. Fantastic.

    Best purchase of the year so far. If you have a family with multiple tech devices each, this is great to have. With all things tech today the value of total tech pays for itself. Each time we have used it we got our devises back in working order the first time and on time.

    Great value most basic installs are included. Use them to connect my washer, dryer fridge range and microwave. Also mounted my TV for free and connected my receiver from my home theater that in itself pays for the total tech on top of all that all my products have the warranty.
