This membership sounds great but I was rescheduled three times for connection and mount my new tv. I couldn’t wait that long so I had someone else do it. Two weeks passed before I come be rescheduled. I was told I would be compensated, I’m still waiting.

They got everything transferred from old laptop to new laptop and everthing was ready to go when pictup. Did good job.

If I end up having an issue and need to use it, this membership will be well worth it. Kinda like insurance, I guess.

Never was able to get an appt the few times I needed something and expensive for what you get (or don’t get). Also difficult to cancel and automatically renews

Every time I used my Totaltech membership it gives me anxiety, because I know something will go wrong. Service technicians don't show up. "Priority" customer support still has you on the phone for over an hour bouncing around between people who can't help you. When you try going to the store to sort things out, they say they can't help, and you need to call the phone number again. For example, today I had a new refrigerator installation scheduled. I even got the morning-of confirmation email. I woke up early, moved all my furniture out of the way, bought ice and emptied my old refrigerator into coolers, and waited. For six hours. I called the Appliance Resolution Team (which it turns out is their generic call center who can't help you with appliances) and spent over an hour on the phone bouncing between people before someone told me the installation had been cancelled and needed to be rescheduled. These things happen, right? Problem is, this is the THIRD failed attempt at installing my refrigerator. And they didn't even bother letting me know they weren't coming. I had to call THEM. Each time I waste half a day (or worse, take a day off work!) waiting for a Best Buy service technician who never comes. I have precious few days off of work, and this is how I get to spend them, all because I bought an appliance at Best Buy. I guess the point is, don't buy Totaltech thinking you'll get some kind of superior customer service. It's the same (or maybe worse, since they already have your money?), except you get to pay for the experience up front.

I love that I can have geek squad support. They checked out my MacBook for me whenever a line showed up in the screen.
