If Best Buy is your main source for electronics and you prefer the peace of mind with protections plans, I'd recommend the total membership for the savings. Especially if you're planning to purchase a high value item.

This our 3rd year being a Total Member. It’s more than paid for itself! Just the 2 yr warrants in products purchased like Applecsre + on our watches and I pad pro Mosul for Total Membership. We received free installation in our 77 LG G3 and the geek squad did a great job. Can’t forget to mention the savings we’ve received. Total Members get a 60 day price guarantee, which we used and saved $200.00 from our LGG3 Tv when Black Friday prices came out. Total Membership is a no brainer!!

This is my 3rd year with Total Tech coverage. It has paid for itself several times over. I’ve had my laptop trouble checked annually and had a setup for a desktop as well as full setup for a new treadmill. All of these would have cost over $1,000. They are fast and efficient when doing the services and tolerate my many questions. The service is outstanding value for a modest annual membership.

I am so pleased with the Best Buy Total Membership. I have used it several times. The geeks are fantastic.

Purchased because it was less than buying the Apple Care for a Phone. Actually purchased 2 phones and a Apple watch so it was a bargain. Those benefits alone made it worth while, but there is more purchases coming with additional bennys. :-)

This membership has already paid off, Free AppleCare is a plus. Makes it very easy to check out.

Peace of mind is everything. Something happens with anything I purchase through Best Buy. Discounts are always good. I like that there is a Members only section for special pricing. As much as I frequent Best Buy, it's worth the annual cost.

This membership is a value if you buy 3-4 electronics a yr you get the warranty free which is kinda costly in its own. Saves you some money and you get a few perks.

I like this membership. I live close to Best Buy and find myself going in at least 1X a month to have Geek Squad fix stuff on my computer. It is a great service. On the other hand, I do NOT recommend EVER using their online chat service. It is terrible! You wait forever. The first person you speak to is not qualified so they move you up to next level and so on. Most of the time I have not had any success with the online chat.

I've had Geek Squad protection since my son got his first laptop for college. I upgraded to total tech a few years ago and can't say enough about the service I have received over the years. Not to mention the added warranty protection that comes with it. Unless you're an IT tech, you can't beat the convenience of having one on call 24 hours a day.

Well worth the investment, it's everything I expected!

Really enjoy having 24 hour access to tech support. I also enjoyed not being or feeling rushed. The agents were patient, answered all my questions and didn't make me feel "stupid" when I didn't understand.

This is the reason why I buy all my gear at Best Buy. 100% worth every penny. Knowing I can walk into any Best Buy store if I damage something on accident and they’ll replace it right then and there if it’s in stock is awesome.

I had individual plans for phone, printer, etc. Was explained the benefits of Total Care. It was easy to understand. Issues were always addressed quickly and successfully. Cannot rate TotalTech since fortunately I have another year of total Care. New program seems more complicated and not as customer friendly. No recommendation is for TotalTech. Would have preferred to keep Total Care, even at higher rate. Overall rating for Total Care.
