At first I was deciding on what apple product to get either a MacBook or a iPad. I first went into Best Buy hoping to find which one I wanted more and came out with this membership. I just bought the iPad with no regrets especially do to free apple care and constant assistance when needed. I love this subscription and definitely will be keeping it for many years.

It worked out for the initial purchase since it costs the same as I would have paid to have data transferred from my old computer to the new one. I probably will not renew the second year since I don’t see much value past the first year.

This made so much sense when I purchased my new macbook pro from best buy -- great support from geek squad on anything purchased from best buy as well as my macbook pro!

Thought it was an expensive membership, but I have actually used it twice this year, so it was worth the price.

I'm normally not one to get memberships, but this one actually works as it saves you on protection cost if you buy a lot from Best Buy exclusively.

Having the MyBestBuy Total plan for a year has been helpful for me and also my family. Using my membership has saved me a lot of money even though I purchased less than 5 items. Having the geek squad support has helped not only in the devices we purchased but also old and other devices we would need to check or fix that with the fast response and discount

I had No problem trading a cheap laptop, that I inially thought would meet my needs, for an Apple product. The after sale service (Geek Squad) was superb in helping with some of the initial technical tweaks.

Geek squad is worth every penny. I have turned in so many computers in the past they have fixed for free. Every time i have an issue it is either fixed or replaced with no issues at all. I love it!

I had just purchased a new Mac and was wanting to restore my old Mac to its factory settings which was going to cost me in the neighborhood of $150. It was really a “no brainer” to spend the few extra dollars to purchase this membership. I’ve already been able to talk with a geek squad member with a concern, and when I get ready to purchase an external hard drive for my new Mac, I’ll let the geek squad do the heavy lifting. Do I think this is a bit over priced … maybe. I’ll decide in a year if I want to keep my membership. Right now, the jury is still out.
