Unhappy customer and Useless Customer Service

A Complete Disgrace and Disaster

I will say, my horrible experience started with my very FIRST need to use this plan. I purchased a dishwasher in March 2022. So, here we are, in June, and it's already leaking. My initial call to schedule was a breeze. Of course, that was after a 30 minute online chat, in which the rep told me at the END of the conversation that she could not help me and I needed to call Insignia directly. As I said, that phone call was quick and painless. I had my appointment all set for sometime in between 12 and 8 pm. Well, the day before my appointment, Samual called and left message, as well as a text. He informed me he would be at my home at 8 am. I explained that my appointment was scheduled for the afternoon. He proceeded to tell me how he had a doctor's appointment and he could only arrive at 8am! The text messages I received were by far, the most unprofessional texts I've ever received. I called Best Buy to tell them all of this information. One hour on the phone and they could not even find my appointment. So, they rescheduled and PROMISED it would not be Samual. Why would it be? He couldn't be there late in the day, so perfect. Nevertheless, the morning of my appointment (which was scheduled for the afternoon as I originally requested), Samual started to text me again. I called Best Buy the day of the appointment and they still had Samual in the system for the afternoon. Well, Samuel showed up anyway and sat in front of my home for ONE HOUR and didn't get out of his truck for even one second. My wife was petrified. I called Best Buy again and told them I was calling the police. He finally left. So now my new technician is scheduled to come and he shows up one hour early. I leave work, run home, and he looks at the washer and says "it's the hose". HE informed me that the best buy techs who installed the machine did it wrong (blamed his own company). HE then said he was sending the hose part to my home, shipped immediately. Well, here we are a week later. No part, no hose, and of course, no answer or response from the new tech. He told me he worked for Best Buy for 17 years and would never screw over a customer. Well, my appointment is tomorrow and he will not answer my calls or texts messages. I can't even confirm as to whether I need off from work! A total disaster. I am contacting BBB if this continues.

Good idea but agents not empowered to resolve issu

I have an order I placed 2 months ago, waiting for delivery and no-one can provide help on when It will be delivered. 11 calls and chats and counting....
